Chapter 6 - Andrew V

The music flows through Andrew's ears as he reads this book of knowledge. Okay, I get it, to be a normal person and fit into society, I have to act like Andrew C, the founder. He lived his life in a way that allowed him to make money and avoid making many enemies, which is precisely what I want to do. Stay lowkey, find my " father", and then marry a girl since that was forbidden in the citadel. Now that I am finished with this book, I can throw it away to save space in my backpack. Andrew closes his book and puts it back in his bookbag. He then looks out the window to see Avalon.

The Jewel of the eastern side of the prime universe. The majestic planet has seven moons orbiting it in complete harmony. Each moon is a different color, ranging from red to violet. The colors so strongly form space that Andrew could see the reflection of each moon in his eye perfectly. He had felt as if a holy divine creature was embracing him. As if a mother would hold her newborn in her arms. The planet's natural beauty was matched by its stunning technology. Four space elevators came, rising from the planet from east to west; from south to north. Andrew had seen space elevators before; they were common to him. His mind racing, comparing, and contrasting only to conclude that this technology should exist yet. It was thousands of years ahead of its time. These elevators not only represent Avalon technology's might, but what was protecting them put this technology to shame. Space stations that could be desired as monumental works of art. Their weaponry was so well designed that it would put the citadel to shame. Andrew would hone in on the space stations, notice that they were pointing at something. He waited a minute, his heart racing, to see what came next.

Twenty-four million miles away was a sea of death. Rushing, beating, raging with hate stood vacuus mortis. This crack in space was a death sentence for the universe. Darkness so black that it caused an empty void of light. It's red teneals pulsing with energy, reaching out, attempting to spread its wickness across the true infinity multiverse.

" Mors sum. omnium remedium sum. Conjuges tuae me prohibere non poterunt. Non obstabit mihi gens tua. Non poteris me prohibere, Flamma Vexilliferum"

Andrew starts in wonder, before the next thing knows that the train had arrived in Avalon, New Haven. " This is your conductor speaking. We have arrived in Avalon, New Haven. Please enjoy your stay and have a wonderful day." Andrew's heart was beating with excitement, so much so that his smile could barely be contained.

Alright, I have my plan set in motion, and I know what to do! Cmon, I wish this guy in front of me would move his ass. I am in a hurry to see this planet! If it looks beautiful from space, then it has to look just as good on the ground. Andrews waits there while tapping his finger on the seat in front of him. After a few minutes have gone by, Andrew gets off the train. Finally, I am off that train. When I first got on, it didn't seem that packed, but I guess the dead giveaway was the guy sitting next to me. Time to see the city of New Haven!

Andrew goes through the security check-in. He is nervous, but bury this feeling. A while later, he is about halfway through the train station checkpoint and ready to be on his way.

Wow, to see this many people who look so different is crazy. There are so many people here of other races, way more than at the last station. I am seeing Lexions, Alavions, lizards, elves, darts, thinions, and so much more. I am also seeing so many more people here with augmentation and chromo. It's odd. I mean, who would have thought that people would want wires in their heads? I think it's a bad idea even to have wired hanging out like that. Andrew moves through the crowd, seeing some people with hanging wires. I did learn my lesson, though, always keep moving. Andrew finally makes it outside after walking the station's clean halls with the marble floor. The smell of the fresh air on this planet is such a relief. The air smells incredibly clean, unlike the smell of coal or any other burning fuel. The sky looks so blue with clouds like those in a movie. Let me just check for my money before I go around looking for my caretaker. Andrew walks over to the side of the station building.

Leaning on a marble pillar. His hands connect to the zipper of the front of his backpack. Once open, he finds his blue leather wallet. Opening it up, he sees that he has 900 platinum coins, each bearing an official stamp of the Prime Universe. Andrew takes his wallet out of his backpack and slides it into his pocket. Man, I have to save this money wisely. It was so hard to convert it into currency for the prime universe, let alone get it approved. Okay, if I were my caretaker, where would I be? I may get lucky and find him while walking. I consider myself to be a pretty lucky guy.

One hour later

Okay, I've been walking for a while now, and still no sign of him. I guess winging my plan and hoping the trail wouldn't go cold was pretty naive of me. I did get to see some cool things, like the architecture of this city. It has a distinctly modern feel, with its high skyscrapers and beautiful, low-to-the-ground shops. I also appreciate the well-maintained sidewalks here. They also have a super speed lane for speedsters, which is neat. I wish I had super speed. He said this with a hint of sadness in his voice. The trail has gone cold. I need a new plan of action. If he is supposed to be like me and I am supposed to be like him, where would I go? Where would I hang out reagaully? I would be at my second home, the casino. Dan,m which casino, though this is a huge city to cover for one guy. I also wish I had a phone so I could just research the top ten casinos, but I don't. Damn you, Citadel, with your secret protocols and no leaks.

The next best thing is just to ask someone. But who would I ask? Andrew looks around for someone who is averagely looking and not to well dress , but well dress enough. After seeing so many people pass him someone cauchtes his eye. Finally , I found someone. I have to catch up to him before he gets away. Andrew taps this young tall Alavion on his back. He turns around wearing a black shirt with rip jeans. His eyes meet Andrew and says to him " Can I help you" in a strange , but intrigue way. Andrew response to the Avalion " Yes , my phone die and I was looking for a cansio? I am new to the city and I love to gamble." The stranger replies with a grin on his face " Yes , I know where a casino is. What's your budget ? " I knew ! I can always tell a fellow gambler from the crowd. Andrew responded " 900 platinum coins." He repled " Alright I can work with that. I would recommend The Crown. It's good for the money and service. I've been there plenty of times when I had big money. I also hear that's where huge better go as well like the royal family." Andrew replied " Okay , Awesome thanks. Could you show me how to get their please ?" The stranger replied " Sure , you are walk down this street for three miles then once you see the burger joint you will make a right and walk straight for one mile. Then you will see it on the left." Andrew nods his head and says " Thanks" . The stranger replies "no problem" The stranger walks away form Andrew and goes about his day. While Andrew starts following the instructions giving to him.

One hour and fifteen minutes later

Finally, I am here. Wow, would you look at this place. I now know why it's called the crown. They used marrable mix with a golden trim outline every detail. Walking in to isn't joke either. I mean look at the red carpet matching the white marrable floor. Andrew walks over to a chip machine to trade his currency that he has. Alright , new plan I will become the top gambler at this casino and it should drag up my " father ". The screen feels smooth too and the colors stick out me on each different type of chip. I wonder what type of panel are they using just for a chip machine ? I guess all the small detail matter. Old reliable always makes my luck last longer. The good ole five chip. Andrew scellet the five platinum chip. He receives 180 chips. Alright , I am in on this usually I do really bad after winning big a few times. So I will win big a few times then I will stop just before that big lost. Blackjack here I came. Your not ready for this heat. Andrew heads over to a blackjack table while going over to one he see a man walking out with his head down because he lost all his money. Wow , sucks to be that guy. See unlike me I am a professional at gambling. I can't lose all my money because I have never lost all my money. He gets to the table and sits down.

" You guys aren't ready for this heat, " Andrew says in a cocky tone. Everyone at the table stares at him and then pays no mind to him.

30 minutes later

Man … How could I lose it all … I thought always hitting meant that I could never lose because other people would follow suit. His head was low, and he was walking towards the exit. His eyes began to tear up. I feel like I am about to cry… This is supposed to work. Andrew sits down on the curb and thinks about his decisions. What do I do now? What a minute! Is that the loser who lost all this money? What the hell is he doing? No shirt, but he is on his knees, praying like a fool. I hope he knows that actually praying doesn't work, and he is wasting his time. Watching this guy waste his time will improve my mood tenfold.
