Chapter 100 - Chapter 99: The Border of the Primal Realm and the Solitary Mountain Path ( Season 1 )

The pale silver light of the twin moons slowly dissolved into the soft, violet hues of early morning.

Over the Mount of the White Lotus, a gentle ocean breeze brushed through the ancient bamboo groves, carrying the fresh scent of dew-covered wild orchids and quiet mountain mist. The tranquil sanctuary remained completely undisturbed, as if the terrifying battle of the previous night—where four supreme Stage-6 Dragon Ancestors were erased from existence by a single tap of a finger—had been nothing more than a passing dream.

Inside the Sanctuary of the Quiet Lotus, the soft morning light filtered through the clean paper windows, illuminating the tranquil wooden room.

Li-Wen sat cross-legged on the polished cedar floorboards beside the bed. Across his lap, the Pitch-Black Heavy Blade rested in complete silence, its dark, unadorned iron scabbard cold and steady. His broad back was as straight as a cliff face, his dark eyes opened slowly as the first golden ray of the morning sun touched the floor.

On the soft sheepskin bed, little Xiao-Yue stirred gently.

She rubbed her small eyes with her tiny fists, letting out a soft, long yawn before stretching her arms into the warm morning air. Beside her, the pink lotus lantern glowed with a continuous, serene ruby light, its flawless silver frame—mended with Star-Marrow Ore—shimmering under the sun.

"Mmmmm..." Xiao-Yue blinked her dark, bright eyes, looking up at the broad back sitting beside her bed. A bright, beautiful smile instantly broke across her face. "Good morning, Brother Li-Wen!"

Li-Wen slowly turned his head. His flat, stern, iron-carved expression softened into a quiet, protective calm.

"Good morning," Li-Wen murmured, his deep, raspy voice flat, steady, and warm. "Did you sleep well?"

"Yes! I had a dream about big blue stars falling into sweet tea!" She squeaked cheerfully, sitting up on the soft bed and hugging her white sheepskin coat around her shoulders. "And no noisy dragons came to interrupt!"

Li-Wen's broad right hand reached out, his calloused thumb gently patting her small head and tucking a stray strand of black hair behind her ear.

"There are no dragons," Li-Wen said flatly. "Put on your boots. We are leaving."

"Okay!" Xiao-Yue nodded eagerly, quickly pulling on her small leather boots and lacing them up with practiced ease. She picked up her pink lotus lantern in one hand, holding it tight against her chest.

When Li-Wen stepped out of the Sanctuary of the Quiet Lotus carrying Xiao-Yue in his left arm, High Priestess Jing-Yuan and her twenty priestesses were already standing in the white marble courtyard.

The priestesses bowed their heads deeply, their hands pressed together in silent, profound reverence. None of them mentioned the destroyed Dragon Ancestors or the erased rift. To them, the man standing before them was not a mere cultivator—he was an absolute force of the world, a living primordial mountain that walked among mortals.

High Priestess Jing-Yuan stepped forward slowly, carrying a small, beautifully woven bamboo basket lined with fresh green leaves.

"Northern Sovereign," High Priestess Jing-Yuan spoke soft and low, her voice full of genuine warmth and respect. "The journey into the Primal Dragon Continent is long and solitary. Our temple has prepared fresh sweet-lotus buns and warm mountain-berry preserve for the little miss."

Li-Wen looked down at the bamboo basket.

"Take it, Xiao-Yue," Li-Wen murmured.

Xiao-Yue's eyes lit up as she reached out her small hands from Li-Wen's arm, taking the warm bamboo basket into her lap. "Thank you, priestess grandmother! It smells so good!"

High Priestess Jing-Yuan smiled gently, bowing her head once more. "May your path be peaceful, Northern Sovereign. Beyond the eastern sea gate lies the Great Ridge of the Boundary Void. May the winds remain quiet for you both."

Li-Wen gave a small, barely perceptible nod.

CRUNCH... CRUNCH... CRUNCH...

His heavy leather boots pressed into the smooth white marble steps as he turned and walked steadily down the mountain path toward the docks, carrying the small girl and her world in his arm.

At the base of the peak, the Azure-Orchid Clipper waited silently on the calm sea.

The elderly helmsman bowed low as Li-Wen stepped onto the deck. Without needing a command, he unmoored the azure-oak vessel and turned the sails toward the eastern horizon.

The ship glided away from the Mount of the White Lotus, leaving behind the peaceful sanctuary and entering the mysterious waters of the Boundary Ocean.

As they sailed further east, the scenery around them began to undergo a dramatic, primordial shift.

The crystal-clear blue waters of the Eastern Sea gradually turned into a deep, heavy obsidian-purple color. Massive, ancient basalt pillars—each five hundred feet tall and covered in glowing red spatial runes—rose directly from the sea floor, standing like silent sentinels across the water.

This was the Gate of the Primal Realm—the boundary line where the ocean ended and the ancient, wild landmass of the Primal Dragon Continent began.

The air here was exceptionally dense. The spiritual energy of the atmosphere was mixed with raw, ancient physical gravity that would instantly crush ordinary cultivators or collapse standard iron warships. The sky above was not blue, but a deep, swirling amber sky filled with slow-moving golden clouds.

Li-Wen stood on the front bow of the clipper, his broad frame standing firm against the heavy, gravity-laden maritime draft.

CRUNCH... CRUNCH... CRUNCH...

His heavy boots made steady, rhythmic sounds against the wooden deck. His dark traveler's coat flapped steadily in the dense air, its heavy wool hem speckled with faint traces of sapphire frost. Across his broad back, the Pitch-Black Heavy Blade rested in absolute silence, its dark iron scabbard absorbing the golden ambient light of the realm.

In his left arm, he held little Xiao-Yue securely against his chest.

The small girl was happily sitting in his broad arm, holding a warm, fluffy lotus bun from her bamboo basket. She took a sweet, happy bite, chewing contentedly as she looked at the giant stone pillars rising out of the obsidian water.

"Brother Li-Wen! Look at those big dark rocks!" Xiao-Yue squeaked softly, pointing her small finger at a five-hundred-foot basalt pillar passing beside the ship. "They look like giant standing pillars! Are we inside a big stone castle?"

"They are ancient boundary markers," Li-Wen murmured, his deep, raspy voice flat, calm, and steady. "They hold the continent's gravity in place."

"Do they keep the land from falling into the sea?" She asked, taking another bite of her warm bun.

"Yes," Li-Wen replied softly, his broad hand gently adjusting her coat to shield her from the heavy ambient pressure.

"Then they are doing a very good job," Xiao-Yue declared with a sweet nod, offering the rest of her lotus bun up toward his mouth. "Brother Li-Wen, eat! The white-beard grandmother made them very sweet!"

Li-Wen looked down at the fluffy white bun held in her small fingers. He bent his head slightly and took a small bite. The soft, warm bread gave way to a rich, sweet lotus-paste interior.

"It is acceptable," Li-Wen flatly stated.

Xiao-Yue giggled happily, hugging her pink lantern closer as the clipper glided between the final pair of giant basalt pillars.

Beyond the basalt gate, the obsidian ocean abruptly ended, giving way to a massive, continental shoreline of dark red granite cliffs—the Shore of the Primordial Ridge.

The Azure-Orchid Clipper came to a gentle rest at an ancient, abandoned stone pier built into the base of the cliffs.

The elderly helmsman bowed his head to the deck in deep farewell as Li-Wen stepped off the ship onto the solid, ancient granite ground of the Primal Dragon Continent.

The moment his heavy leather boots touched the solid stone of the continent, the terrifying physical gravity of the landmass tried to press down upon them! The gravity here was fifty times greater than that of the Central Plains—enough to flatten steel armor into thin sheets!

Yet, as Li-Wen took his first step forward, the absolute-zero kinetic density sleeping deep within his Stage-5 Peak Sovereign marrow flared for a microsecond.

STEP.

The immense fifty-fold gravity in a three-foot radius around Li-Wen and Xiao-Yue was instantly neutralized into a light, gentle mountain draft! Not a single hair on Xiao-Yue's head felt the slightest pressure; she remained as light and comfortable in his arm as if they were walking through a peaceful flower garden.

Ahead of them lay a narrow, winding mountain path carved through the jagged granite cliffs—the Path of the Solitary Sovereign.

This trail led deep into the heart of the Primal Realm, toward the ancient mountain ranges where primordial herb roots and divine spatial minerals rested beneath ice-capped peaks.

Li-Wen walked up the steep mountain path with slow, unhurried, rhythmically steady strides.

CRUNCH... CRUNCH... CRUNCH...

His heavy leather boots pressed firmly into the dark granite stones.

However, as they reached the mid-point of the granite cliff path, the golden ambient sky above the ridge suddenly turned dark crimson!

HUMMMMM—!

The surrounding granite cliffs vibrated violently! High above the mountain trail, three colossal figures stepped out from the deep mountain caves, blocking the path ahead!

These were not human cultivators, nor were they ocean beasts. They were the Three Primordial Void-Golems—ancient guardians forged from dark spatial iron and core earth magma, created during the mythic era to destroy any mortal who dared to step foot onto the Primal Dragon Continent!

Each Golem stood three hundred feet tall, their bodies composed of glowing red volcanic rock and dark spatial steel. Their glowing yellow core eyes locked onto Li-Wen, radiating a suffocating, mountain-crushing pressure that caused the granite walls of the canyon to shatter into deep fissures!

"MORTAL INTRUDER!" The lead Void-Golem roared, its voice sounding like thousands of grinding boulders! "THIS IS THE PRIMAL REALM! MORTALS ARE FORBIDDEN TO TREAD UPON THIS ANCIENT GROUND! TURN BACK OR BE CRUSHED INTO MOUNTAIN DUST!"

The three Void-Golems raised their massive, hundred-foot granite fists, covered in blazing spatial magma, preparing to slam them down onto the narrow mountain path with enough force to obliterate the entire cliffside!

Xiao-Yue stopped eating her sweet bun. She looked up at the three giant stone monsters blocking the path ahead, her small brows raising slightly.

She didn't scream. She didn't hide.

She simply held her pink lotus lantern steady in her left hand and gently patted Li-Wen's chest. "Brother Li-Wen... the big stone men are blocking our walk."

Li-Wen stopped on the granite path.

He did not draw the Pitch-Black Heavy Blade from his back. He did not step into the sky.

He held Xiao-Yue securely in his left arm, his dark, void-like pupils looking flatly at the three three-hundred-foot Void-Golems towering above them.

His physical marrow—purged of all void poison and refined to absolute physical density—vibrated with a quiet, cosmic resonance.

"Move," Li-Wen said softly.

His deep, raspy voice was low, flat, and carried no emotion. It was an absolute physical command that echoed through the bedrock of the entire continent.

He raised his right hand and executed a casual, horizontal wave of his open palm toward the three giant stone monsters.

WAVE.

CRACKLE—! SHATTER—! REPRESS—!

A single, microscopic crescent of absolute-zero sapphire kinetic cold swept across the mountain canyon!

The three hundred-foot Void-Golems, their blazing spatial magma, their dark spatial steel frames, and the massive hundred-foot fists descending from the sky didn't even have time to impact!

The instant the sapphire cold touched their primordial rock structures, all three ancient guardians were instantly snap-froze into giant, pale-blue ice statues standing frozen inside the canyon!

CRUMB.

Li-Wen casually lowered his right hand back to his side.

SHATTER—!!!!!

The three pale-blue ice statues of the giant Void-Golems collapsed silently, crumbling into billions of microscopic, sparkling frost-dust particles that drifted lazily down the granite cliffs, completely vanishing into the deep abyss below!

The spatial fissures closed. The dark crimson sky cleared, returning to its peaceful, golden ambient glow.

The ancient guardians who had blocked the continent's border for ten thousand years were erased in less than a second—by a casual wave of a palm.

Silence—absolute, pristine, and tranquil silence—returned to the granite mountain path.

The narrow cliff road ahead was now completely open, bathed in the soft, warm golden light of the Primal Realm's afternoon sun.

Li-Wen did not pause. He adjusted his broad arm, holding little Xiao-Yue securely against his chest, and continued his steady walk up the granite mountain path.

CRUNCH... CRUNCH... CRUNCH...

His heavy leather boots pressed rhythmically into the granite stones, carrying them higher into the majestic, untouched peaks of the Primal Dragon Continent.

Xiao-Yue rested her small head comfortably against his broad shoulder, taking another tiny, sweet bite of her lotus bun, her dark eyes looking out at the endless, beautiful mountain ridges stretching into the golden horizon.

The sun shone brightly above them, casting long, peaceful shadows along the ancient stone trail, as the solitary Northern Sovereign walked steadily forward, carrying his world safely in his arms into the vast, ancient continent ahead.
