A soldier rode up to Corvin, calling out, "General, we've received word from our spies!"
Corvin slowed his horse, and the soldiers behind him did the same.
"Speak," he ordered.
"Elina Lorian and her forces have all teleported to Corvil. They're waiting for us," the soldier reported nervously. "What should we do now?"
He hadn't expected Elina Lorian to come up with such a crazy plan.
The Corvil Plains and Butterfly Wing Valley were separated by a vast distance.
Yet, using teleportation magic, she had managed to transport tens of thousands of soldiers straight to the Corvil Plains.
For the first time, the soldier was overcome by a paralyzing sense of fear. He couldn't shake the feeling that they were about to suffer a crushing defeat.
"Teleportation magic?"
Corvin was momentarily surprised before bursting into laughter.
"Interesting… Truly interesting! Elina Lorian is nothing like the rumors suggested. I underestimated her."
His eyes flashed with madness.
"We'll press on!"
