"Come in, don't be shy."
The waitress invited Elina into a hidden room behind the tavern.
As Elina stepped inside, she looked around curiously. The room looked like a simple living room.
"Are you sure this is the place?"
"Why?" The waitress gave a faint smile. "Is it not what you expected?"
Elina didn't hide her thoughts.
"Exactly. I thought the room would be luxurious or packed with people coming and going, just like in the books."
The woman laughed.
"Every service has its own unique charm. And this is us—we like to keep things simple without being too flashy."
Elina simply smiled.
She sat down on the sofa in the middle of the room while the woman briefly stepped away to call someone who was supposedly the owner of the tavern.
Not long after, a thin, middle-aged man appeared alongside the woman.
He wore glasses without lenses, and his friendly face made him seem quite approachable.
