"Will we meet again?"
The question caught Nolan off guard.
Would they?
Honestly, he didn't know.
The future he knew was already set—fixed like it had been carved into stone. No matter how hard he tried to change things, it always seemed to find its way back on track.
At best, maybe things would shift a little. Not a completely different future… just a slightly altered version of what was supposed to happen.
But he couldn't say any of that to her.
So instead, Nolan stayed quiet for a moment, carefully picking his words.
In the end, he just smiled and gave a small nod.
"Of course we'll meet again. In the future, you'll already be the Master of the Tower of Silence, and we'll meet several times. Even if you can be annoying sometimes, I don't hate you," he said jokingly.
Sylvia pressed her face against Nolan's stomach, then puffed out her cheeks in annoyance.
