"A deal, you say? What do you mean?" Erkan narrowed his eyes.
Thousand Faces gave a faint smile and clasped his hands behind his back.
"There's no such thing as a free lunch. It's a well-known saying—I'm sure you've heard it," he said calmly. "The same goes for this job. I'm not going to do it for free, am I?"
Crosmon frowned. Just as he was about to speak, Erkan raised a hand to stop him.
"Didn't we already agree on this? We'll pay you fifty million Rune coins upfront. Why are you suddenly adding conditions? Are you trying to break the deal?" Erkan asked coldly.
A faint pressure surged from his body and bore down on Thousand Faces.
