Yuki and Ryuma nodded, and headed towards the exit of the hall.
Upon exiting, they saw Akari standing in the distance.
"Akari Sensei!" Yuki waved her hands.
Akari walked towards them and said, "You guys look more beat up than I thought you would, at least you all are in one piece."
Kazuki said, "How come you don't look even a bit worried?"
Akari chuckled and said, "Well, I was a little worried, but I knew you could handle it."
"Did you win?" she asked.
"Of course, did you think we'd lose?" Yuki grinned.
"Let's talk later, we need to take you all to the hospital." Akari said.
They all headed to the hospital, reaching there, they saw that the hospital was a mess, so many patients were being admitted at the same time, most of them were missing limbs or were in very critical situations.
Akari asked, "How are so many Genin injured so badly?"
Both Kazuki and Yuki looked at Ryuma with a smirk, who just stood there with an awkward expression.
"It's a long story, sensei, we'll tell you later." Ryuma said.
Their turn finally came after a few hours and the doctor told them that they didn't need to be admitted. She just used Mystical palm on them, treated their injuries and discharged them.
Kazuki closed his eyes and tried to locate the 2nd Konoha team, he was able to find the leader after a few minutes but he was alone, running towards Konoha.
Kazuki thought, 'Good, I was worried. I hadn't made sure his other teammate was dead, he saw my Rasengan after all.'
All of them walked to their given apartment, once reaching there, the happy and cheerful atmosphere vanished, and everyone became serious.
"Tell me what happened," Akari said.
Kazuki said, "We were being targeted. When the exam was about to start, we noticed the hostile gazes of the other genin towards us. We realized that they were planning something against us, so we ran away as far as possible and made a cave inside a mountain to hide.
But we needed two more scrolls to pass, so we went after a Sunagakure team, which was some distance away from the other Iwa teams. We defeated them quite easily, but then we noticed that the other Konoha team was nearby, and they were coming directly towards us.
They were using a ninja hound, they would have found us sooner or later, so we decided to stop and see what they were after. Turns out that they were here to assassinate Yuki."
Akari's eyes widened, she muttered under her breath, "That bastard Danzo is going too far."
Ryuma asked, "Sensei, do you know something about them?"
"Yes, but it would be better for you all to not know about this, or else your life might be at risk." Akari said.
Ryuma stood up in anger and said, "Sensei, I deserve to know what is happening to my comrade. If it's that dangerous, then I'm ready to put my life on the line."
Kazuki was surprised, he didn't think Ryuma would go that far for a teammate. He has always been quite nonchalant, he didn't show much interest in things other than their duels.
But then Kazuki remembered what had happened to Keiko, he had also heard from Yuki that he has been visiting her almost every day in the hospital.
Kazuki smiled and thought, 'Makes sense.'
Akari looked at Yuki, who nodded in response.
"Alright." Akari said, "The person behind all this is Shimura Danzo, one of the village elders."
"But why would he do this?" Ryuma asked.
"I can't tell you the exact politics behind it, but it's related to her being the next head of the Senju clan. Even I didn't know about this until I became your sensei." Akari replied.
"Then why doesn't the Hokage do anything about this?" Ryuma asked.
"We don't have enough proof against Danzo and it wouldn't change much even if we got some because Lord Hokage is too lenient when it comes to Danzo." Akari answered.
Kazuki then told her the rest of the story and mentioned the part where he awakened the Sharingan.
"Sharingan, huh?" Akari sighed. "I'm not sure if it's good or bad, but it certainly increases your strength. Can you show it to me?"
Kazuki closed his eyes and opened them again, revealing the crimson eyes with 2 tomoe spinning in them.
"It's impressive. Most people only awaken one tomoe but you already have two in both eyes." Akari said.
"Sensei, can you help me train? I want to master the Sharingan as soon as possible." Kazuki said.
Akari said, "I'm sorry but I don't know much about the Sharingan. I think even you would know more about it than I do."
'I thought so.' Kazuki thought.
"I don't understand one thing, how did you sense them from that far?" Akari asked.
Kazuki bowed a little and said, "I apologize for hiding this, Sensei. I have an ability that helps me sense people from a very large distance, I awakened this after our first mission."
Akari's eyes widened, she said, "Mind's eye of the Kagura, It's an Uzumaki clan's special technique, they say that its present in some Uzumaki since birth but it needs a catalyst to awaken, which is different for every person."
She thought, 'This kid is terrifying, carrying both the Uzumaki and Uchiha lineage at the same time. who would have thought he would awaken both their special powers.'
"Sensei, can you train with me? I want to improve my Taijutsu so that I don't have to use my chakra on weaker opponents." Yuki said.
"Sure, but we'll start tomorrow. You should rest for today, and Ryuma, you have the most injuries, so rest for a few days. We have plenty of time to prepare for the finals." Akari said.
"And try to stay near me, we don't know what the Tsuchikage might try." She said before dismissing them.
