The training camp was only three weeks away, so we had dedicated that time to preparing together. However, after the incident at the mall earlier today, all might asked if I wanted to join him in visiting a friend. I hesitated briefly, then asked my mother for permission, and she agreed without hesitation. Before heading to the airport for my flight with All Might, I meticulously tested the girls' equipment and gear to ensure everything was in perfect working order.
"Thank you for this," I said sincerely.
"Kid, you don't have to thank me after everything you've been through. You deserve a little vacation," he replied warmly, patting me reassuringly on the back.
"So, how's everything going with your girlfriend?" he inquired, a curious smile on his face.
"It's going pretty well. We've gone on a few dates to nearby cafes and parks," I responded, feeling a bit shy.
"That's good. Spending quality time with her is the most important thing. Oh, and by the way, how do you know Midnight?" he asked, raising an eyebrow as I looked at him, surprised.
"How did you...?" I started, my voice trailing off.
"Really, it's midnight. She's had her eyes on you from day one, and Nazu also showed me the security footage," he said with a smirk. "You should really check your surroundings before doing something like that."
"Of course. I really should have been checking for hidden cameras," I admitted, slapping my forehead as realization dawned—I hadn't even thought of that possibility.
"Don't worry. She may be a little older than you, but it's not against the law to love an older woman, especially here in Japan. Just try not to become a father too early," he added, offering a grin and some sage advice as we prepared for landing.
"Attention passengers, we will be landing shortly," announced the pilot through the cabin speakers.
"Once we land, I plan to transform into my buff form. Thanks to your healing abilities, I should be able to maintain this strength throughout the day when we're out in public," All Might said as he stood up, beginning his dramatic transformation into his muscular hero form.
"You should get dressed too," he added. "We're heading to my costume storage."
I looked at him, raising an eyebrow as I unzipped my jacket. Underneath, I was already wearing my Hero Costume, carefully tucked into my waistband.
"Great minds think alike," I said with a smile, exchanging a nod with him.
(In my mind, Nana whispered, "It's sweet to know you care about my student.")
"Wait, you can talk to me?" I asked in surprise.
"Yes, I can, and I'm getting stronger as you get stronger. Currently, I am the only one you can speak to directly. Once you fully master this ability, you'll be able to communicate with all of us," she explained.
[Congratulations, host. You now have the new ability: Float.] my status indicator appeared in green, indicating that float was now unlocked.
"What was that?" she asked curiously.
"Nothing important," I replied casually.
"Young Midoriya, are you okay?" All Might asked, noticing I had been unusually quiet and looked distressed.
"I'm fine. But I think we should get off the plane," I suggested, just as the aircraft began its descent. We disembarked, stepping out into a world filled with advanced technology far beyond what was familiar on Earth.
"Missing your old home?" Nana inquired softly.
"A little, but compared to my life then and now, I wouldn't change a thing," I replied happily.
"Good. I guess you're not a total perverted slimeball," she teased.
"I'm a little bit perverted, but I'm not that bad," I thought to myself.
"Okay, then let's find the hotel," I said, but before I could finish, some nearby people recognized who I was and started to gather, eager for a glimpse. I could use my powers freely here, so I jumped into the air, attempting to activate my float quirk. I started levitating, but before I could stabilize, I suddenly blasted away with my fire stick, soaring towards a nearby building to oversee what was happening below.
"You're pretty good with that," Nana commented, impressed by how I used her quirk.
"Thanks. When do you think I'll unlock the other quirks?" I asked.
"Judging by how you're now able to communicate with me, I estimate that at 35%, you'll unlock the sixth quirk, as well as the seventh and possibly the fifth," she said.
"Really? Do you know that for sure, or are you just guessing?" I asked, noticing her silence.
"So, you're guessing!" I added.
"Yes, I'm guessing. This has never happened before. Do you think I'm not talking to Toshinori right now?" she replied.
I then focused on my own thoughts.
"What she's saying is true—that my quirks are getting stronger as I do. I wonder how powerful I will become," I mused inwardly.
A few minutes later, I finally spotted one of the fans I was searching for as I landed beside him.
"That took longer than I thought," he said.
"You think I was waiting here for 30 minutes?" I retorted.
"Sorry, I can't help it—my fans like me this much," he chuckled, scratching the back of his head.
"Anyway, where are we headed?" I asked.
"To visit a friend of mine. I haven't told him about One for All, or that I've passed it on to you, so try not to mention it," he warned.
"Okay, wouldn't it be better to tell someone you really care about about your powers?" I questioned, as he looked at me with a mix of surprise and realization.
"You want to tell your girlfriends?" he guessed, recognizing my internal conflict. "On one hand, more people would know the secret. On the other, it's risking your student's ability to confide in those who love him most."
"I suppose you could tell them—but only if you keep it a secret between you and them. Especially, make sure Midnight doesn't gossip," he advised, knowing her well.
"Of course," I agreed. Later, we heard the sound of a pogo stick approaching. Turning, we saw a blonde girl with blue eyes, wearing glasses, and sporting a busty figure, slightly larger than Momo's.
"Uncle Might!" she exclaimed, jumping into All Might's arms as he spun her around, laughing.
"Melissa, you've gotten so big," he said happily.
