When Lillian got dressed for her class and headed downstairs, she was surprised to find Sebastian standing there, leaning against his car casually while holding a plastic bag in his hand.
Surprise crossed through her eyes.
"What are you doing here?" she asked.
"To drop you off," Sebastian responded, "thought you would be too disappointed after last night."
Hearing that made her heart feel lighter, a pleasant emotion spreading through her chest. She bit the insides of her mouth to keep the smile from peeking out.
"Not exactly," Lillian softly replied, lowering her line of sight. "How did you know where I lived?"
"Do you believe that's difficult for me to find out?" Sebastian questioned. Then, extending his hand, he forwarded the plastic bag in his hand. "Here, breakfast for you."
Lillian accepted it, her facial expression visibly softening before she got into the car beside Sebastian.
