Chapter 260 - Ch-260 Mangekyou Sharingan.

Renji, as soon as he said, "Bankai, Soo Zabimaru," felt the air around him shift.

Immediately, just behind his left shoulder—almost fused to his back—a massive, mechanical, gorilla-like arm formed, its joints clicking into place with a heavy, metallic grind. At the same time, in his right hand, a mechanical snake coiled outward, its steel body twisting fluidly until its fanged mouth revealed a blade, held in Renji's hand.

A low hum filled the space around him.

The moment Renji entered this form, he vanished from where he stood.

A sharp gust of wind followed.

In the next instant, he was already ahead—moving with terrifying speed. The white, humanoid lizard-like creatures barely had time to react. One after another, their bodies were cut cleanly apart, falling in pieces before they even understood what had happened. Blood sprayed across the ground in jagged arcs.

Renji didn't stop.

After cutting down several of them, he used Shunpo, his figure flickering upward as he launched himself into the sky. The ground cracked beneath where he had stood.

Then, without pause, he struck—his blade aimed directly at one of the Otsutsuki clan members.

No hesitation.

Shamrock and Uta burned with anger, but they restrained themselves.

They knew.

For now, they had to follow Renji's orders—to go to the Uchiha clan compound.

Without a word, both of them dashed through the streets, their footsteps echoing sharply against the ground as they sped toward the Uzumaki clan compound. The wind whipped past them, their pace relentless.

But on their way—

They encountered them again.

Those same white, humanoid lizard-like creatures.

The sight of them—ripping through the streets, slaughtering the commoners of Uzushogakure—made Shamrock's jaw tighten. Screams echoed in the distance. The smell of blood lingered thick in the air.

His anger surged.

Without holding back, he released his Conqueror's Haki.

An invisible pressure burst outward.

The air itself seemed to tremble.

At the same time, his sword was already unsheathed. Using Shave, his body blurred—

—and in the next instant, he appeared beside one of the monsters.

A clean slash.

Its head separated from its body before it could even turn.

The corpse dropped with a dull thud.

Uta moved just as swiftly.

Though she didn't possess Conqueror's Haki, her speed was no less deadly. Her figure flickered between the creatures, precise and controlled. In a blink, she had already cut down two of them.

Her blade crackled with lightning, arcs of energy dancing along its edge as it sliced through flesh and bone.

The street fell silent for a brief moment—

Only the faint crackle of electricity remained.

Both of them continued moving forward toward the Uzumaki clan compound.

Their pace didn't slow.

But as they entered the compound and moved deeper inside, the air itself felt wrong—too still, too heavy.

The more they advanced, the more their expressions changed.

Horror crept in.

They began to see bodies.

Servants—lying motionless.

Uzumaki clan members—those who had returned to Uzushogakure after its re-establishment—scattered across the ground, lifeless, blood staining the stone paths and soaking into the earth. The silence between them was suffocating.

Everyone here—

Gone.

A faint metallic smell lingered in the air.

Neither Shamrock nor Uta spoke.

No… this can't be…

Soon, they reached the inner quarters—the place where the 'Uzumaki siblings' lived with their families.

Their steps grew faster.

More desperate.

Especially Uta and Shamrock—their hearts pounded violently, anxiety clawing at their chest as one thought repeated over and over.

Mother.

As soon as they reached the garden—

They stopped.

Their hearts skipped.

For a moment, everything froze.

Because what lay before them was nothing but carnage.

Bodies were everywhere.

Their uncles… their aunts…

Even their cousins.

All of them—dead.

Blood covered the ground in dark, uneven patches, staining clothes, pooling beneath lifeless forms. Some lay still with eyes open, others collapsed where they had stood, as if death had come too suddenly to even react.

The once peaceful garden had turned into a massacre.

Uta's breathing hitched.

Her eyes darted wildly across the scene—searching, desperate, refusing to accept what she was seeing.

Then—

She saw her.

A woman.

Lying still.

"MOTHER!"

Uta's voice broke as she screamed, her body already moving before the sound fully left her throat.

It was Mikoto Uchiha.

Her mother.

Uta rushed forward and dropped to her knees beside her, her hands trembling as she grabbed onto her.

"Mother… please wake up… Mother, please…"

Her voice shook.

She tried again—louder, more desperate.

"Mother, please wake up!"

She shook her gently at first, then harder, panic rising with every second.

But—

Mikoto did not move.

Did not respond.

Did not wake up.

And in that grief, Uta felt a sharp pain in her eyes.

It burned.

But she did not close them.

She kept staring—unblinking—at her mother's lifeless body.

Tears welled up, but refused to fall.

The tomoe in her Sharingan began to spin.

Slowly at first… then faster.

Faster—

Until they blurred.

A faint tremor ran through her body as the patterns shifted, the tomoe stretching and pulling toward one another. And then—

They connected.

A new pattern formed.

Her Mangekyou Sharingan had awakened.

A sharp pulse echoed in her mind, and with it came understanding—clear, absolute.

She knew.

Her right eye ability—Kotouta.

Her left eye ability—Kotoamatsukami.

Kotoamatsukami… it was identical to Itachi's ability.

Anyone who met her gaze would be dragged instantly into an illusionary space, their consciousness trapped within it. There, she could control time itself—stretching mere moments into three full days. To the outside world, nothing would seem wrong… only a brief lapse. But inside that illusion—

Three days of torment.

Three days where she could break them, crush them, damage their very spirituality to any extent she wished.

Three days… inside a moment.

And her right eye—

Kotouta.

A broken ability.

Anyone who heard her voice would be pulled into a dimension of her own making. A space where she held absolute control. She could shape it however she desired—create structures, alter the environment at will.

And inside that dimension—

Any damage inflicted would be real.

Severe.

Unforgiving.

Her breath grew uneven.

The air around her seemed heavier, as if even the world had acknowledged the change.

Then—

A loud thud.

It echoed through the compound.

Both Uta and Shamrock froze.

Their heads snapped toward the source of the sound.

And what they saw—

Made their bodies tremble.

Their eyes shook.

Because right before them—

The symbol of faith for all of Uzushogakure…

Had been stabbed into the ground.

It was their father.

Shanks Uzumaki—the Uzukage of Uzushiogakure… the man known as the strongest in the world.

He was there.

Pinned.

A massive black rod had pierced straight through his body, driving him into the ground like a stake. Blood had pooled beneath him, dark and still, seeping into the earth of the very village he had built.

For a moment—

Everything went silent.

As Shamrock saw his father like that, his mind went completely blank.

…No.

First their mother.

And now—

Even his father.

Right in front of his eyes.

His breathing stopped.

Then something inside him snapped.

The Sharingan in his eyes began to spin.

Violently.

The tomoe twisted, distorting as if unable to hold their shape anymore. A sharp pressure built behind his gaze, pain lancing through his skull—but he didn't look away.

He couldn't.

And then—

They changed.

A new pattern formed within his eyes.

He had awakened his Mangekyou Sharingan.

A surge of awareness flooded his mind, raw and immediate.

His right eye—

Okinishi.

His left eye—

Yatagarasu.

Okinishi…

An ability that allowed him to summon a creature from hell itself—Cerberus.

But not just summon.

He could designate any object… and transform it into Cerberus.

Anything.

A stone, a weapon, debris on the ground—

All of it could become a monstrous, three-headed beast under his command.

Anything can become a weapon…

And his other ability—

Yatagarasu.

With it, he could simply look at any surface and burn a mark onto it. A mark invisible to others, but absolute in its function.

And then—

He could teleport to it.

Instantly.

No need to touch. No need for preparation.

Unlike the Flying Thunder God technique, which required placement beforehand, this—

This was immediate.

Wherever his eyes fell—

He could go.

A faint tremor ran through the ground.

Both the siblings stood there in grief with new powers awakened.
