Surprisingly, it was Amelia who spoke first breaking the silence.
"Uhm…" She said, pausing for a moment, but decided to go on.
"My Will actually revolves on enslaving Creatures and living things to do my bidding. But so far, I have been unable to truly do that due to my low level so I delayed them."
Suddenly the group seemed to realize something. The true aspect of her Will was much dangerous and vital than they thought. To the extent that even her inability to truly use it was deadly on its own.
A physical pause by insert her influence in the target's mind wanting to control them.
'Damned' Flynn found himself adopting in Ryker's behavior in thought as he stared at his classmate silently.
"Well, that is nothin short of terrifyingly, putting me to shame. Hahaha"
"My Will copies attributes of the Weapon I wield on a certainly percentage and buffs my physical stats. The better my Weapon, the more highly stronger I become."
"Pretty simple that is it."
"Like before, got nothing to say. You've witness the true extent of it."
Seeing everyone eyes had settled on her, Jane shrugged helplessly.
Next it was, Raylen, Ryker's twin who spoke.
The quiet youth, delayed for a moment before speaking.
"Injuring my opponents and getting their blood on me weakens them and makes we stronger at the same time." He said, letting the three others who didn't know about this previously, silently stare at him.
All imagining the scene of the youth bathed in blood.
"That's…" Amelia was the first to speak out then appeared to take back her words.
Jack's turn came and the latter released a proud smile.
"I am able to summon a single Terracotta as strong was a Vile Creature."
Fighting the Imperial youth was the same as fighting two Baron Level Bearers.
Ryker gave an impressed nod.
Sure it was an impressive Will to have, summoning was very rare.
But Jack's smile further broadened, a smug look forming on his face, he added.
"It can also sacrifice itself for a quick boost in strength or agility at the threshold of the Count Level for a short moment."
Now there was stunned silence, excluding Amelia and Flynn who had already witnessed it. The trio from Oak were stunned.
"Wow." Ryker muttered after a brief silence. Raising his hand to cover is embarrassed smile.
That was it, the whole group focused on Flynn, whose physical appearance looked much older than them and waited quietly for him to speak.
"Not only in the midst of shadows, my Will grants me the ability to greatly diminish the sense of my existence to outside force. I am also able to buff the group at the same time with concealed stealth."
He had tested this before, in fact it was only when he deactivated his Will that the giant spider woke up from it's slumber.
The silence resumed, as they submerged in his words.
'Quite Op Will dude.' Amelia commented in his head.
To her words though, Flynn really wanted to ask whose ability was truly Op. 'Pausing someone during a fight?'
And at the same time no one realized that Flynn hadn't been in darkness when he killed the spider.
Two contradicting concepts couldn't be tied to a single Will right?
But no one thought so.
"Wonderful, you duos from Fortunate are the most bizarre." Ryker commented being the most lively one among them, while Jean nodded in support to his words.
"So now, does anybody have a plan on how to defeat our foe?"
Their was silence in their midst as they all fell into deep thinking.
'should I ?'
[Author's Note: The reason there has been a delayed update is because someone shattered my PC. Took out the harddisk to copy the files out but turns out it also got ruined. Chapter 33,34,35. Was able to complete the other half of chap 35. Buh damn, I can't remember what I typed in 34 & 35. It really killed my zeal."
…
Though they could have given it to Amelia, the effect wouldn't have been comparable to that of the Spider's Devil Stone.
After a momentary pause, Flynn silently collected both of them with a thankful nod. His words were unsaid.
Jack did the same and they both separately sat down, assuming a lotus position and commenced to absorb the Stone.
Deep within his soul, following the trace of Tia being absorbed he found that familiar feeling of trance.
Right before the giant, pitch black sword guard. And on each side, ancient texts glowing but with sublimity. A strange state which he couldn't completely comprehend either.
But as he stared at this, he started to have a Strange feeling, that of confusion upon discovering that the thin flow of Tia that was being absorbed with the intent of forming his Imprint was flowing into one of the Ancient Texts.
'Ehn?' With confusion, he muttered inwardly as he soon came to a realization as the first of the Ancient Texts began to peel, the subdued light that had been shining blindly once, turned into a sublime flow with the text coming back to life.
'No, It isn't forming Imprints but unsealing them.' He thought with wonder.
His Imprint which must probably be the Ancient Texts had been formed right after his Seal was created. But unimaginably it became Sealed.
'Was it an automated self defense by his Seal?' He thought, imagining the possibility of a new transcended Bearer becoming a Baron with all five Imprints. It was unheard of, even more so, he might have lost stability and become Hollow.
While he was pondering on these facts, he came to another realization.
Staring at his Seal in this incomprehensible state, not knowing if he had a body as he couldn't really sense or control any part of his body other than his sight.
His Imprints weren't five in a sense. Assuming each Ancient text was an Imprint. Then counting both sides, he had to unseal 7 Texts in total, also 7 Imprints.
'This is wild.' As these thoughts crossed his mind, he began to wonder.
Not only did he inherit two Wills, he also received two more than the max which was 5.
While the norm formed 3, exceptional ones 4 and the true prodigious genius bound to be powerhouses of humanity formed 5, he was two above them.
'Isn't this too crazy?'
Bang!
Just then, the absorption seemed to have been completed. As he could feel the Stone in his physical palm turn cold, and within his soul.
The glow of the Ancient Text was finally unconcealed. Shining with beautiful streaks.
Though it was bright and all, Flynn instantly noticed the difference between how it had been after his Seal formed previously.
The light had been blinding. But from the look of it he had to unseal it all before it regained its former glory.
With his first Imprint unsealed, he began to feel a soft pull on his subconsciousness and let the feeling envelope him without restraint.
Still he didn't seem able to exist on his own in that space and was brought back into his physical State.
Not that he had actually exited it previously.
