"Awake." Johanne lifted his head and smiled at his son and his son's mate. "Claude, Len, hello! Took time!"
"Hmm…" Len stopped just a few steps from the wolves. He hummed at the sight. "I remember you. We met in Marble City. I didn't think you were one of the peddlers… although I could not place your scent anywhere…"
Instead of paying attention to the pack Alpha, Johanne only pulled his ears back when Claude nudged his neck with some kind of strength. The father's tail wagged lightly, as if he were just a domestic dog welcoming his owner.
Claude stepped back and flashed a smile. "Right, we haven't introduced you to Len yet. Dad, Dad, that is Len! Len, this is my dad!"
"Alpha Johanne?" Len's brows rose before he chuckled and bowed a little as a sign of respect to his mate's father. "We should have treated you better. However, you must have seen my state. We didn't have the time to make things clear."
