"That's it." Claude growled in his seat, pressing the 'Leave' button in an instant. He huffed and tossed his phone on his bed. His gaze landed on Eugene, whom Irving must have asked to lie down properly. The newly turned Alpha was even adjusting the nightlight so it wouldn't shine on Eugene's face.
"Uhm, good night, Claude…" Irving smiled before slipping under the blanket. He even hugged Eugene's arm like it was a bolster pillow.
Claude sighed again and got up to change out of his clothes. However, he ended up grabbing his Hofner and leaving the room instead.
A few steps led him to the staircase to the rooftop. The wolf stepped onto the wide floor, bathing in the faint moonlight. He stood on the edge, one foot on the low cement railing. His violin rested on his neck and shoulder… soon singing in the tune of Claude's confusion and helpless, exhausting frustrations.
