"You…!" Kathleen squeezed her mother's hand in reflex. She then remembered the other man beside her.
Thumbs? Yes, thumbs. Wasn't that how humans fondly speak about their pets? Because their pets had no thumbs, they couldn't do much. Pet…? Dog!
The man beside her and the man next to her mother were wolves!
Kathleen's body shuddered in fright. She remembered the last time she was in the company of those wolves. They captured everyone from her unit and killed them mercilessly.
