An officer knocked on the captain's cabin door, and after receiving permission to enter, he walked in and approached Captain Olson, who was busy with paperwork, and whispered in his ear
"The task force was intercepted 22 kilometers outside the target city, most likely by a Horizon patrol team, and is currently engaged in combat."
Olson's expression darkened as he set aside the document in his hand.
"What is Connor doing? Didn't I tell him this mission needed to be covert? How could Horizon Corporation discover them?"
"And what is the reconnaissance team doing? Why didn't they investigate the route in advance?"
The officer softly replied
"This route was scouted out by the reconnaissance squad in advance. The attack location was checked several times. This incident... might just be a coincidence, the enemy squad doesn't have many people, as if they were passing by..."
"Coincidence? There's no coincidence when you get shot dead on the battlefield."
