Inside the tent, everyone looked at the appearing Vampire Baron. Fidmund's face showed disgust, Jerald was puzzled, Mogiana wished to kill immediately, while Teresa bore a look of indifference and haughtiness.
But everyone held their weapons silently and turned their gaze to Laine.
"Do you think I would be willing to trust you?" Laine sneered, "Why would I trust the words of a vampire? You want to surrender to me? Do you even know if you have the right to surrender?!"
The Vampire Baron lowered his head, adopting a respectful stance: "I have four reasons to surrender to you. Please let me finish, Lord Laine Macado. If you're still not satisfied after hearing me, you can take action directly."
"What if I don't want to listen?" Laine elongated his tone, "The vampires of the von Castain Clan have betrayal and deceit flowing through their veins. What you say could all be lies."
