King Kong sat there alone, head lowered, holding a cigarette between his fingers. With only two or three drags, the cigarette had burned to the end. The group of bodyguards who didn't dare fight quickly retreated to King Kong's side. In this situation, charging forward meant certain death! Nobody was that stupid! It wouldn't matter if they rushed forward; were they eager to die slower?
In this scenario, the only way to feel a sense of security was to hide behind King Kong. Yet subconsciously, they feared King Kong might not be able to protect them.
"Heh heh, King Kong, we meet again." Celestial Silkworm stepped forward, casting a cold smile at King Kong.
King Kong tossed the cigarette butt away and then stood up. King Kong's stature was much taller than those around him, like a crane standing among chickens. Only when he half sat did he seem equal to the people around him.
