Once, looking up along the cliffs of the Abandoned Land, one could only glimpse the ominously clouded crossroads. Now, that Land of Sin has vanished, and the hazy sunlight can actually pour directly into the bottom of this dark rift. Even though the light was much dimmed, it still gave Holt, who had lived in shadow for years, a sense of relief.
"Damn, have we really been living in this kind of environment all along?"
After relief comes endless complaints.
The station chief of the Desperate Outpost, Holt, looked at the dust swirling beneath the light and sniffed hard, "I was wondering why I keep having rhinitis, it's all because of this damned place."
"Chief, please keep quiet. As a High Tier Condenser, minor ailments like rhinitis shouldn't affect you, and no matter how much you complain, it won't change the environment or be beneficial to the upcoming actions."
A cold voice chimed in from the side, Holt's deputy, Evan, said.
"Didn't you realize I was joking?" Holt retorted.
