All Hammer knows is this; as for what to do after releasing the Beast of the Herd... he doesn't need to know, because Hammer understands that by then, he might already be dead, or trapped in some state between life and death.
But none of that matters anymore.
Hammer's body trembled slightly, not from fear, but from excitement. He was about to be liberated, offering his final loyalty to the lady.
"They're here."
Hammer smelled a faint scent of blood in the air. Then, on the other side of the cliff, a group of people dressed in red robes appeared.
"Are these sacrifices enough, Yidir?"
Hammer asked again. As the Calamity Servant, Yidir was crucial to this operation.
"Not enough yet."
Yidir took a deep breath, and then shook his head, "The scent of blood is too faint; not enough people have died... I need more blood and flesh to attract the Beast of the Herd's attention."
