Bologue paused for a moment and suddenly raised his hand. At his command, the wall beside him instantly collapsed, revealing a rift, not the familiar town, but a murky darkness with arcing flashes within it.
Seeing this scene, Bologue actually relaxed quite a bit, "We're not in the Material Realm."
The lady laughed, knowing this couldn't fool Bologue. Bologue also smiled awkwardly, feeling a bit tense.
In past years, the Devils' direct interference in the Material Realm had little effect; even if there was progress, it only created a land where they could exercise their power. But as the two realms overlapped and Ether density increased, the Devils undoubtedly gained more power.
The lady couldn't fully descend into the Material Realm, but she could extract a part of it and elevate the entire area to the Ethereal Realm.
