Palmer watched Bologue from a distance, unsure of what he was doing. Suddenly, the surrounding blood mist rapidly contracted and entirely attached to the hand axe.
Bologue turned around and waved Palmer over. Palmer swallowed hard, stepping over the blood-soaked ground as he strode forward.
"What's going on?" Palmer asked.
Bologue appeared unconcerned, "Nothing much, the new weapon's a bit unwieldy, so I made some adjustments."
He said this as he raised the hand axe in his hand. The violent intent was almost tangible; Palmer couldn't help but step back. To him, it seemed like a cursed object blessed by all evil, but Bologue held it as if it were an ordinary hand axe, completely unaffected.
"No problem?" Palmer asked cautiously.
"No problem," Bologue replied, "The way to restrain a maniac is simple... just be more violent than he is."
