"Because it's a job, a responsibility," Lebius said, "You wouldn't understand."
Red Dog raised an eyebrow and whispered, "Lebius, you've changed a lot. I still remember you yelling at me like a lion; but look at you now, has time erased your hatred? You're too calm now, like an insidious viper."
"Some things, the simpler they seem, the more complicated they are. Some people, the calmer they appear, the more they hide beneath," Red Dog said smugly, as if flaunting his wisdom.
He continued, "Truly dangerous people aren't those who play tricks, but those who maintain a façade."
