The Tower of the Source of Magic, the core building of the Magic Dimension and the residence of the Lord of the Magic Dimension and Demon God Sebastian Shaw, was not easily accessible to others without explicit permission. Of course, Priya, as Sebastian's direct student, was absolutely not among those who could not enter freely.
The hippogriff landed gracefully on a high platform in the center of the tower. Priya casually patted the hippogriff's feathered head affectionately, then added some hippogriff feed to the feed trough on the platform before entering the tower. She went straight to the main hall at the top of the tower where Sebastian resided.
When Priya entered the grand hall, she immediately saw Sebastian sitting on the high-backed obsidian throne in the center. She bowed slightly and respectfully said to Sebastian, "Teacher, I have come to seek your guidance."
Opening his eyes slowly, Sebastian looked much the same as he had before. He smiled warmly and nodded at Priya, saying, "You can talk to my clone on Earth if you have anything to say. Why bother coming all the way here to see me in my true form?"
"Coming to see my teacher is hardly a bother at all," Priya replied earnestly.
Sebastian said with a smile, shaking his head slightly. He lightly tapped the armrest with his right index finger, and instantly a smaller obsidian high-backed chair appeared behind Priya, rising up from the floor itself.
Sitting in the high-backed chair behind her, Priya said to Sebastian, "Teacher, I came here mainly to ask about the Young Avengers. Do you think I should join them?"
"Your magical progress is rapid and impressive, but you lack real-world experience," Sebastian replied thoughtfully. "Joining the Young Avengers would be a good choice for you personally, but you need to carefully balance the Young Avengers' affairs with Hogwarts' affairs and responsibilities.
If you join the Young Avengers, you will be a first-generation member, and the responsibilities will be considerable and demanding. You need to think these things through carefully before committing."
The Young Avengers was a plan agreed upon by the Illuminati, the Avengers, and the Ultimate Avengers working together.
The first generation of members included Priya from Hogwarts, Hawkeye's protégé Kate Bishop who had taken up the second Hawkeye mantle, Ant-Man Scott Lang's daughter Cassie Lang, the young mutant Iceman named Bobby Drake, and Spider-Man Peter Parker who was still attending college. The current leader of the team was Spider-Man Peter Parker. Once he got used to life as an Avenger and proved himself, he would officially join the main Avengers team.
"Teacher, I have made up my mind," Priya declared firmly. "I choose to join the Young Avengers."
"Hmm, that is good," Sebastian replied approvingly. "Since you have decided, then do it without hesitation. Now you can tell me about other things. I do not believe you came here just for this simple question. You must have other things you want to tell me, am I right?"
Hearing Sebastian's perceptive words, Priya smiled helplessly, "Teacher is teacher. I knew I could not hide anything from you. Actually, I mainly want to enter the Training Forest for training. I feel I can protect myself there now."
The Training Forest was a special place Sebastian had created three years ago in the magical dimension. It was filled with endless dangers and extremely dense magical power that saturated every inch. Entering it for training, as long as one could withstand the constant dangers, would lead to astonishing progress for any mage brave enough to venture inside.
However, ensuring one could leave the Training Forest alive was absolutely no easy task whatsoever.
At least so far, only Kaecilius and Selene had completed their training successfully, which was precisely why Sebastian trusted them enough to run Hogwarts.
"Priya, you should be well aware of the dangers of the Training Forest, so are you really sure you want to enter it for training?" Sebastian asked seriously.
Priya nodded firmly and said to Sebastian with determination, "Teacher, when I met Kaito and Ram before, I could clearly feel their progress and growth.
Ram's progress in particular left me speechless with how much he had improved. But I have not slacked off at all. I have been studying magic just as diligently as when I was in school. Later, I realized what they have that I do not is intense combat experience.
Kaito faces countless dangers in the underwater world, and his maritime magic school has been attacked by many foreign mages multiple times. As for Ram, he is constantly fighting against those dark wizards in his world. They both have external pressure catalyzing their progress, and I must catch up with them."
"So you not only want to join the Young Avengers, but you also want to enter the Training Forest?" Sebastian asked.
"That is right!" Priya confirmed.
Shaking his head, Sebastian said to Priya, "It is too early for you to enter the Training Forest now. The difficulty there is practically a death sentence for someone at your current level. You should stay in the Young Avengers for a while first. Once you are strong enough to enter, I will not stop you from trying."
Sebastian's words made Priya realize that she could not enter the Training Forest immediately as she had hoped.
"Alright, I understand," she said with disappointment.
Looking at his ambitious student, it was impossible for Sebastian not to like her dedication. With a sigh, Sebastian said to Priya, "After you go back, ask Kaecilius for a pass. If you have time between your duties, go and take a look at Parallel World Number One. Help Ram and the others fight the dark mages there. It will be a kind of training for you."
After becoming the Lord of the Magic Dimension, Sebastian had discovered many parallel worlds with the help of the Space Stone and initially established connections with them. So far, he had discovered seven different parallel worlds, which he had numbered sequentially for ease of reference. The X-Men world from which Ram and the others originally came was designated as Parallel World Number One, and the others followed the same numerical pattern.
Because many of these worlds had not yet established reliable cooperative relationships with Earth, and due to previous disturbances and incidents, Sebastian currently strictly controlled the routes to parallel worlds. Only Parallel World Number One remained largely open for travel, and even then, a pass was required for initial entry. Otherwise, free entry and exit were absolutely prohibited.
Hearing Sebastian's words, Priya immediately smiled brightly and thanked him enthusiastically. Then she ran off after saying goodbye politely.
Watching Priya leave the hall, Sebastian sighed helplessly and said to himself, "She is even trying to outsmart me now. This little one is getting bolder and bolder."
How could Sebastian not know that Priya's sudden request to enter the Training Forest was actually to lay the groundwork for obtaining a pass to Parallel World Number One? Sebastian even knew that Priya had romantic feelings for Ram. Otherwise, she would not have specifically chosen to go there to train herself.
Shaking his head and smiling with amusement, Sebastian slowly leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes. In five years, he had basically digested and integrated the power and authority he had gained using the Infinity Stones.
As for the two beings whose power he had forcibly seized, Hoggoth seemed to have long forgotten the grudges of the past on the surface. But Sebastian knew Hoggoth had never truly given up on reclaiming that part of his authority. Sebastian simply had not given him any opportunity to strike.
On the other hand, Chthon was much more decisive and aggressive. He had opened a rift in the dimensional seal and gathered a group of dark mages in Parallel World Number One to cause trouble and chaos. This was precisely why Ram returned immediately after graduation. He needed to assist the X-Men in dealing with Chthon's disciples and their dark magic!
