It was days since Edna's death.

Doverel tried speaking to me again, but I ignored her. What is there left to say to her anyway? She can feed her lies to someone else.
Seeing that I was not speaking to her, she sighed and turned towards Gervan and Lucien, wishing them goodnight.
Since when had they become so close? Oh, wait—never mind. Of course. They were the top scorers, just behind her.
Soon, all the Love Fairies were asleep. All except me.
I sat up, glancing toward the bed in the farthest corner—Edna's bed.
