[3rd POV]
With Destruction leaving the store, Wanda was left alone in the shop with the kids, who had continued their work and were pretty much finished at this point. And since they were done, they were now mostly just silently training, with even Amity doing it at this point, knowing that Wanda wouldn't say anything about it anymore since they have done their job perfectly.
While waiting for the next customer to come in, Wanda couldn't help but wonder what the date was going to be. The first date she had gone on with Death was a very interesting one that she found to be fun, and was one of the few events that showed her something new and utterly unique. So it was a rare experience for her.
But it was also the date that had showed her that she might really like the idea of being with Death as well as Raven at the same time. That, and that date had confirmed Raven's agreement to the idea of Wanda dating both of them, even if Raven was openly a bit confused with what it will look like.
But Wanda was pretty confident that Raven also thought it was kind of hot, even if she didn't outwardly say it.
She was too shy to say something like that.
Wanda hummed softly.
'Maybe something like a trip to the beginning of time instead of the end of it? Could be an interesting thing to see, since I haven't actually seen the birth of a universe, at least, not in person watching it happen. I've made them, but that wasn't inside of the universe itself, but was instead an outside perspective' Wanda thought, contemplating the idea before shaking her head inwardly at it.
'No that's probably not going to happen. Death seems to like to make our dates completely random and shocking, and that would be too obvious for her to choose it. So most likely it's going to be something that I would never expect to happen, like seeing the birth of a new multiverse instead of a simple universe. Or maybe the birth of a concept like Magic?' Wanda thought, having never seen that either.
She had to admit that the idea was interesting, considering she was also inherently connected to magic on a conceptual level, and watching magic be born could be very intriguing to see. Although she also knew that magic in the DC multiverse was VERY different than a lot of other magics due to their being magic's personification and it's opposite.
The opposite of magic was not an entity she was exactly interested in seeing. Not because it was all that powerful or anything, but because the thing was creepy as hell and was known as the Upside Down Man, a member of the "Otherkind" horrific and evil entities from the Dark Multiverse that were literally the personification of evil and cruelty and wrongness.
Hecate was the mother of magic in essence, and she was not a good person either. As it was her actions that forced the Lords of Order into creating magical artifacts and to have hosts instead of directly interfering in the world. Which was both a good thing, as it would MASSIVELY decrease the potential of the universe ending from a war between chaos and order, but it was also bad because it gave Chaos a lot of leeway, and allowed magical incidents to occur far more often.
Hecate was one of the strongest entities in all of DC, and was the strongest when it came to magic itself. Something that Wanda found to be very impressive.
If she hadn't been stronger at least. Wanda was probably the only magical being in DC that far surpassed her, as the likes of the Endless did not utilize magic. Nor did the Hands, or Perpetua or the Archangels or any of them. A lot of them looked down on magic due to it's inherently chaotic nature and it being weaker than some superior forms of energy.
But magic was far and away the most wide reaching energy there was. As it could do quite literally anything if you had enough of it, had enough control of it, and understood it enough. And that was something that Wanda had all of. With her surpassing Hecate in the art of magic in quite literally every single form.
So seeing magic, and therefore Hecate, be born was a very interesting idea. One that she decided she'd have to do either way. Although she'd need to keep an eye on the upside down man.
The Dark Multiverse should not be getting involved in anything just yet, but she'd need to be sure. As in that multiverse, there was the Batman Who Laughs, who had the potential to absorb the power of Doctor Manhattan, which would cause a shit load of problems that she did not want to happen.
As it would lead into Perpetua and all that bullshit.
And Perpetua was one of the few beings in the multiverse that Wanda had to take at least somewhat seriously, even if she was still weaker than Lucifer, she could be a problem in terms of safety and the amount of damage she could cause to the greater multiverse.
She'd wipe her from existence if she tried anything though.
Either way, she was excited for whatever the date may be, as she was confident she would enjoy it, no matter what it was.
Simply because she liked to be around Death, just as much as she loved to be around Raven. Well, mostly. She wasn't on that level with Death yet, but that was just because they had not talked enough, and she did not know her like she knew Raven.
Well, that and she hadn't slept with her or anything, so that probably contributed to it. As there were not many things that made you as deeply connected with your loved one as sex.
She just hoped that it wouldn't be anything too crazy.
While she thought about the date with Death, and what it could potentially be, Wanda had heard the door to the shop ding as it opened slowly but surely. Looking up, her eyebrow raised as she saw that it was the Doctor, and she realized that it was time for him to meet the members of Starfleet.
So, she sent off the notification to Picard and crew, so that they would come down here to meet the man. She had also gazed into their universe, and found that they were not busy or doing anything, so it looked like things were completely fine.
"Ah, my favorite bookstore owner! How is your day going, Wanda?" The Doctor said with a bright smile on his face as he trekked forwards, as she looked at him in amusement.
"It's going very well, and am I right to assume that yours has been going well too?" Wanda asked, noticing the jolly vibe that the man was giving off, making it pretty clear to her that something good had happened.
She wondered what it was, but decided against asking too much.
"Yep!"
"...And I'm assuming you're not going to tell me why?"
"Yep once again me dear friend"
"Alright then. Ah, speaking of friends, I actually have a few people that wish to meet you, Doctor. They are from another multiverse and are human. They are currently quite advanced in the space exploration stage, and have met and work with a number of alien species. I told them about you, and they were interested in learning more about your kind and your adventures. Would you be willing to talk to them?" Wanda asked, making sure beforehand.
She knew the Doctor enough to know that he'd be fine with it, but she still wanted to make sure before she let Picard into the shop. She imagined it would just be Picard, Deanna and maybe Data that would enter though. It would be no more than four people, as more than that would be too much.
"Hmm? I don't see any problem with that. When will they be here?" The Doctor asked, not looking bothered by it, and if anything, he looked very interested in meeting them.
Wanda smiled, as the door dinged once again, with the Doctor's face slowly warping into a smile as he chuckled, turning around to see who entered. And it was exactly like Wanda had thought, it was Deanna, Picard, and Data. But Worf had also seemingly pushed his way into the little group, which was definitely going to be an amusing sight.
Staring at the group and the Doctor, Wanda hummed, only one thought on her mind.
'I wonder how this is going to go?'
