"If that's the case, doesn't Brandan have more time to spend with Emily? Emily is so happy."
Iris Harris was amused by the sugary sweet voice, she didn't go out, but sat on the bed listening to the conversation through the wall.
"Why should I care about your happiness?" Brandan Hyde was still very blunt, "I haven't even questioned you about pretending to be hurt to deceive me, and now you've come to me. Emily Dormer, I didn't realize you had so many tricks up your sleeve, huh? Is it fun to fool me?"
"...Emily just hopes Brandan can spend more time with her..." Emily said aggrievedly, "Emily knows it was wrong, but if she doesn't do it, Brandan wouldn't want to spend time with her at all."
"At least you have some self-awareness," Brandan sneered softly, "I owe you a favor, but it doesn't mean you can deceive me like this. You may not know, but I hate when people use this kind of thing to trick me."
