She gripped the handle of the shopping cart and fiercely rammed it into John Foster's leg. The man instinctively sidestepped and saw the woman pushing the cart away without looking back.
And she never looked back from start to finish.
John Foster watched her back, squinting with a faint smile, but the expression in his eyes was unclear.

"Finished choosing?"
Eddison saw Melody Nelson walking over from the shelf area and naturally took the cart from her. The two walked side by side to the checkout counter.
Melody was gloomy, lacking the calmness she had when she arrived, her brows shrouded in melancholy.
While queuing to pay, Eddison glanced at Melody curiously and asked, "What's wrong with you?"
Melody shook her head: "Not in a good mood."
Eddison was slightly puzzled but didn't ask further.
He seemed to remember a teacher mentioning in physiology class that women sometimes have a few days when they're inexplicably in a bad mood.
It seems that's not false.
