"Alright." Mia Ginger nodded, reclined the seat, and leaned to the side to rest with her eyes closed.
Koa Jackson lowered his eyes to look at her, let out a faint smile, and focused on driving.
——
It was quite congested on Saturday night.
Daniel Davis had originally left the complex later than they did, and after hitting two red lights in a row, he was even slower.
He simply slowed down as well, and asked with a smile, "Did you get enough to eat?"
"Mm." Tong Tong nodded and gave a little smile. "Aunt Petal's cooking is pretty good, and she's really nice. It feels like Sister Olivia must be very happy."
As she spoke, the corners of her lips lifted, and the dimple on one cheek seemed even deeper. With those utterly sincere eyes, she looked completely content and satisfied.
Daniel Davis gave her a steady look and said helplessly, "You barely ate anything."
"I ate too much at noon," Tong Tong explained.
Daniel Davis looked at her and smiled, then didn't say anything more.
