Mia followed him and got up, taking a few steps before realizing the chancellor was gone, surprised, she asked, "Where's the chancellor?"
"Little Darcy took him out for a walk."
"Oh."
As long as someone was taking care of it, Mia nodded and followed Koa Jackson back to the room.
Went to bed to rest.

In broad daylight, she couldn't fall asleep at all.
The two of them stared at each other with big eyes for a while, then at Koa Jackson's instruction, Mia went to the study to find two books.
She gave him a medical dictionary and took an art album for herself to ponder over.
And so the morning passed.
After having lunch again, Koa Jackson's body temperature had returned to normal.
Outside the window, the rain had stopped, the wind had calmed, and the sky brightened up.
Koa Jackson glanced at the time on his wrist and suddenly said to Mia, "Is your dad coming back to Peace Province today?"
"..." Mia was startled, "Yeah, I would've forgotten if you hadn't mentioned it."
