"What's wrong with me?" Upon waking, Scarlett Yates felt sweaty all over, her head heavy and dizzy, her throat dry and scratchy, and her limbs aching severely.
It was as if she had just run ten laps around the track; her body was limp and she couldn't muster any strength.
"Young Madam, you're ill; you've had a high fever of 39 degrees, but thankfully it's gone down now." Seeing Scarlett seemingly wanting to sit up, Olly leaned forward and carefully helped her up, placing a soft cushion behind her with her other hand.
After sitting up straight, Scarlett still felt a bit dizzy. She closed her eyes, and after a while, slowly opened them again.
The dizziness was not as intense as when she first got up.
She rubbed her temples, looked up at Olly, then buried her head again, thinking for a moment before gradually remembering everything.
After returning from outside, she took a hot bath and lay down to sleep.
After a while, her head hurt more and felt heavier...
