With that, Noah Yates beckoned toward Scarlett Yates: "Scarlett, come over and meet your grandpa."
"Hold on." Old Master Yates took another unhurried sip of tea and said leisurely, "Don't rush to acknowledge her yet. Have you figured out whether this girl is really one of the Yates Family or not?"
Noah Yates laughed and said, "Dad, would I mistake my own daughter? I watched Scarlett grow up; there's no way I'm wrong."
Old Master Yates disagreed. "For something as important as confirming kinship, it's not enough for you to 'feel' you're not wrong. You need to produce concrete proof."
Noah Yates froze for a moment, then asked a few seconds later, "Dad, the concrete proof you're talking about is…"
