"Me?" Scarlett Yates let out a bitter laugh. "I'm Noah Yates' daughter; he wouldn't do anything to me. But it's different for you. Anyway, I won't be in any danger; you don't need to worry about me."
"Young Madam, how could you be..." George was quite shocked, as he hadn't been aware of this matter.
"I'll talk to you about this later."
After exchanging a few words with George, Uncle Marshall probably noticed her mood was off, so he didn't rush her anymore.

Returning to the Yates Family home, Scarlett Yates stepped into the living room and saw Noah Yates sitting on the sofa.
"It's getting late; quickly pack up, and we'll leave in half an hour." Noah Yates glanced up at her, holding a half-smoked cigarette, its ember flickering at his fingertips, with two burnt-out ones already in the ashtray on the coffee table.
