Matthew Saxon spoke with a hint of impatience in his voice, "I told you to leave."
He never had a good impression of the young nurse; the only reason he helped her before was his strong dislike for Scarlett Yates's intrusion. Additionally, her cold demeanor and lecturing tone made him want to suppress her a little.
Though he indeed disliked Scarlett Yates barging in uninvited, he disliked even more the young nurse's eager behavior.
The latter bothered him even more.
Without Matthew Saxon's backing, the young nurse's courage immediately faltered. How could she dare challenge Scarlett Yates further? She clenched her teeth and reluctantly got up to leave.

The young nurse had left quite a while ago, but neither Scarlett Yates nor Matthew Saxon spoke to break the silence. They looked at each other, and after a moment of gazing, Scarlett slowly walked over to the bed and sat down.
