Standing in the room was a girl in a nurse's uniform. Her skin was very fair, with an oval face and delicate features. Maybe the heating in the room was cranked up too high, because her cheeks looked a little too red.
"Mr. Marshall." Seeing Uncle Marshall, she politely greeted him. After saying hello, her pitch‑black eyes started roaming all over Scarlett Yates, sizing her up for a moment before calmly withdrawing her gaze.
