"What are you thinking?" Giving him a sidelong glance, Summer Sutton climbed off of him.
After taking a look at him, she didn't rush to leave.
Watt Bennet raised an eyebrow, waiting for her next words.
Summer Sutton gazed deeply at him for a long moment, then suddenly grabbed his hand, her voice a bit urgent, "Watt, let's never be apart again, okay?"
As if afraid he would reject her, Summer Sutton's hand held his tightly.
Watt seemed caught off guard by her words, and the time he was stunned stretched a bit long.
Summer Sutton's eyes showed a hint of panic, anxiously watching his reaction.
She wanted a promise from him. She and he had already been through a life-and-death separation once, and Summer Sutton didn't want to be apart from him a second time!
Watt was silent for a very, very long time, but in the end, he said nothing.
"You can't kick me out!" Summer Sutton didn't want to rush him, so she turned and went to the kitchen to prepare dinner.
