"Did Luke not come over?" Sophie glanced around, trying to spot Luke Land. It seemed unlikely that Luke Land would let Eva Miller out alone.
"He's waiting in the car for me. How could we let him hear the things we talk about as girlfriends?"
"How are things between you recently?" Sophie asked tentatively.
Sophie had always been unsure about the relationship between Eva Miller and Luke Land. After all, she knew that Eva Miller married Luke Land not because of love.
"Good? What good? That bastard." Eva Miller cursed Luke Land unexpectedly.
"Is he treating you poorly? What's he done to you?" Sophie was a bit anxious. "Is he abusing you?"
Ha, abuse? Impossible. If there's any abuse, it would be her abusing him.
"Eva, please tell me what's really happening between you and Luke." Hearing Eva Miller's tone, it seemed like she was at a loss, and Sophie grew more worried.
Could Eva Miller say that she found Luke Land all too good simply because he treated her too well?
