Chapter 620 - Chapter 610: Setting Sail to Other Cities

Inside the incubation center of the Pokémon Breeding House.

After this period of training using vitamin solutions, more and more young Pokémon had hatched from their eggs.

Because these Pokémon first came into contact with humans immediately after hatching, they showed great intimacy toward people.

As a result, these Pokémon were perfectly suited to be starter partners for apprentice Trainers. In Aven's previous life, Pokémon Breeding Houses had traditionally provided starter Pokémon to beginners as well.

At this moment, many prospective apprentice Trainers had gathered outside the Breeding House. All of them were recent school graduates.

Elementary schools taught only basic literacy and arithmetic, so a group of students quickly passed their graduation assessments and advanced to middle schools and Trainer schools.

The requirements for entering a Trainer school were much stricter, but there were still some outstanding students who managed to pass the evaluations. The students gathered here now were precisely those elite individuals.

After some time passed, the incubation center finally opened, and large numbers of prospective trainee Trainers were guided inside.

At this moment, on the grassy field within the incubation center, many young Pokémon were gathered together. They looked curiously at the students before them and did not feel any resistance to being approached.

Moreover, these Pokémon had already received some basic training and understood that each of them would soon leave the incubation center with a human Trainer.

Next came the time for interaction. Trainers selected the Pokémon they liked, while the Pokémon themselves also chose the Trainers they favored.

Once both sides reached a mutual agreement, adoption registration could be completed, and the Pokémon could be taken home. Of course, to ensure the healthy development of these young Pokémon, the Trainers were required to bring them back to the Breeding House for regular checkups.

"Huh? What kind of Pokémon is that? I don't think I've ever seen it before," one Trainer suddenly exclaimed in surprise.

This Pokémon looked very similar to Marill, but was clearly much smaller, almost like a devolved form of Marill.

"This Pokémon is called Azurill. It really is the offspring of Marill," a staff member from the incubation center came over to explain.

When he first saw this Pokémon himself, he had also been extremely surprised. And with so many Pokémon Eggs being delivered at once back then, he truly had no idea where Prince Aven had obtained them from.

"Marill's baby!" Many Trainers' eyes lit up, especially the girls, who instantly fell in love with Azurill at first sight.

Before long, all the Trainers in the incubation center had chosen their desired Pokémon. Their journeys as Trainers would officially begin here, striving forward together with their partners.

"Marri~ Marri~"

Outside the incubation center, the Marill leader looked at the Azurill being adopted, its emotions complicated.

To be honest, even they themselves had not expected that Azurill would hatch from the eggs rather than Marill.

And from Aven, it had learned that for Azurill to successfully evolve into Marill, it would need to cultivate a deep bond of affection with its Trainer.

For the sake of the tribe's future development, it could only select those Azurill within the tribe that were willing to follow humans and send them to the incubation center to choose suitable Trainers.

Still, thinking of how these Trainers could help Azurill grow more quickly, its mood improved somewhat. After watching silently for a while, it turned and headed back toward the their habitat inside the Safari Zone.

"Trainers and Pokémon have always been a two-way choice," Aven said with a smile in consolation.

His mood was excellent at the moment. The successful opening of the incubation center would provide even more Pokémon for trainee Trainers.

Although the territory's finances no longer depended on the breeding house, seeing the Breeding House system from his previous life being recreated still filled him with great satisfaction as a Pokémon Breeder.

Coupled with the upcoming second official Trainer Assessment and the approaching Pokémon League Tournament, the Pokémon League he remembered was gradually being reconstructed piece by piece.

As time passed, the day of the long voyage finally arrived.

Three ironwood ships were fully prepared, quietly docked at the pier, their holds filled with various goods.

All of these goods were shipments Aven had promised to deliver to Wisdomhall City, including large quantities of potions and fertilizers to help Wisdomhall City develop as quickly as possible.

This voyage would follow the coastline counterclockwise, passing by Marina City and Meteor City, then continuing northward until reaching Wisdomhall City.

After unloading all the goods at Wisdomhall City, he would continue sailing, passing beyond Wisdomhall City to reach Canalvein City on the westernmost edge of the Sinnoh Region, in search of traces left behind by Darkrai.

Finally, the ironwood ships would sail back from Canalvein City to Aspiration City, completing a full circumnavigation of the Sinnoh Region, successfully conducting both maritime and overland surveys to identify a suitable trade route.

When the ironwood ships departed from Aspiration City again in the future, it would mark the true opening of a commercial route—spreading goods along with the Pokémon League system across the entire Sinnoh Region!

"Your Highness, all cargo has been loaded, and the maritime escort squad has assembled. We're ready to depart at any time!" Mado reported, riding atop a Gyarados.

Behind him followed an even denser formation of Gyarados. After this period of training, more Magikarp had evolved into Gyarados, and many other Water-type Pokémon had also joined the ranks.

The Water-type Pokémon Breeding Zone was likewise expanding rapidly toward distant areas, with nearly the entire coastline of Aspiration City already incorporated into it.

Next, the Breeding Zone would continue expanding outward, eventually enveloping the entire coast of Marina City before pushing onward toward Meteor City.

Meteor City was now almost entirely under Aven's control, making the construction of Pokémon Breeding Zones there a top priority. Not only the coastline, but also the entire Meteorite Mountains and Aspiration Mountains had already been included in future plans.

If these two regions could become Pokémon Breeding Zones like the Black Forest and the Coastal Mountains, then Aspiration City would no longer face any threats, and the road between Meteor City and Aspiration City would be completely unobstructed.

In addition to expanding the maritime Breeding Zone along the coast of Meteor City, Aven also planned to include the strait between Meteor City and Stark Island within the zone, ensuring safe navigation between the two locations.

Of course, all of this was still only in the planning stage. Bringing it to fruition would take a very long time. But one day in the future, everything would become reality.

"Alright, then we depart now—destination: Wisdomhall City!"

With his command, the crew swiftly boarded the ironwood ships, setting out on an even longer voyage!

On the dock, officials collectively bowed to Aven as he departed. Rhyperior and Heatran stood at the very front of the group.

"RHYYYY!"

Rhyperior looked somewhat uneasy. This time, its master might not be taking it along on the voyage.

After all, it suffered from seasickness, and the journey ahead was extremely long. Staying behind in the Pokémon Domain might be the better choice.

Moreover, during this period it needed to remain at the steel forging factory to assist Master Makin in crafting armor, helping more Rhydon successfully evolve into Rhyperior.

"Rhyperior, after I leave, the Pokémon Domain will be entrusted to your protection," Aven said.

"I hope that by the time I return, you'll have successfully developed the armor. That will be the greatest surprise you could give me."

Aven patted Rhyperior on the shoulder in reassurance. Having been together for so long, they truly had never been apart for such an extended period.

"Rhy! Rhyyy!"

Rhyperior nodded vigorously. Even without its master by its side, it would continue training diligently!

And as for the safety of the Pokémon Domain—so long as it remained here, no one would be allowed to cause any damage!

Still, it worried about Aven's safety and seriously instructed Lilligant, Froslass, and Gardevoir to make sure they protected their master at all times!

"Don't worry. As long as we're on Sinnoh, no one can hurt me," Aven said confidently.

As long as he was within Sinnoh, he could communicate with Azelf at any time and have it come to his side to protect him.

"And you too, Heatran. I hope you'll continue helping Rhyperior with training and protect the Pokémon Domain," Aven added.

"Heat!"

Heatran glanced at Rhyperior, then at Aven, and nodded quickly.

It had already gradually grown accustomed to life in the Pokémon Domain. Even without being told, it would protect this place properly.

After finishing his instructions to the two Pokémon, Aven gave individual reminders to the others staying behind. Finally, his gaze fell upon the officials of the territory.

With the continuous completion of the city hall, the territory's financial affairs no longer required much of his direct attention. Everything could be arranged in perfect order through multi-department coordination.

"Fessen, you'll need to take extra care during this time. Just proceed step by step according to the plan," Aven said. Hearing this, Fessen immediately saluted, indicating that everything could be left to him.

During earlier discussions of the League system with Princess Mira and Princess Eva, Fessen had been present the entire time and was already very familiar with the Pokémon League system, fully capable of continuing its implementation within Aspiration City.

After giving further instructions regarding the Pokémon Breeding Zones, Aven boarded the ironwood ship. As it set sail, the vessel headed toward the distant sea!
