I couldn't remember when and how it started.
Perhaps it happened when my mother disappeared. Or perhaps it happened before she left the castle.
Too much time had simply passed that I had already forgotten the main reason why I decided to become the perfect princess loved and adored by my people.
Every day, I would wake up at four in the morning. After freshening myself, I would run around the castle grounds to maintain and build my stamina.
For two hours, I would run. Then, when I was done, I would dedicate the next two hours into practicing swordsmanship.
To end my morning routine, I would then bathe and prepare for the day's lessons.
History, royal etiquette, embroidery, dancing, and other skills essential to the members of the royal family were drilled into me by my teachers.
I didn't mind studying. As long as I did well, I would be praised by my teachers, as well as my parents.
Perhaps it was those words of affirmation that sparked everything.
