Chapter 1 - Office worker

Yoshino Kusakabe Was looking confused as he had just died of a stabbing incident before him was what can only be described as an tired office worker who looked like he'd been through this enough times to know how it goes.

The man leaned back in his worn office chair, letting out a long, exasperated sigh. He barely glanced up at Yoshino.

"You're dead. Already. Don't need to panic about it." He tapped a pen against a clipboard. "Just another case of human stupidity, really. Knife. Right to the chest. Classic."

He paused, studying Yoshino's confused expression.

Yoshino's mouth moved. No sound came out. He stared at his own chest, expecting to see a gaping wound, but there was nothing—no blood, no pain, just a lingering echo of the moment everything had gone black.

The office worker sighed again, louder this time, the sound of a man who had filled out too many forms.

"Right. Confusion phase."

The man set down his pen and looked at Yoshino with flat eyes.

"Look, kid. You're dead. But you're not... *dead* dead. You're in that gray space between. The waiting room." He gestured vaguely at the endless, monotonous office space—beige walls, fluorescent lights humming an annoying, low-pitched buzz.

The man's expression darkened slightly, a hint of guilt flashing across his face. He avoided Yoshino's gaze, instead focusing on the clipboard in front of him. "There was an... incident," he muttered, more to himself than to Yoshino. "A mistake."

He rubbed his temples, the fluorescent light reflecting tiredly off his glasses. "A clerical error that resulted in the death of a certain 'Bald Cape.' Because he died saving that brat, all the threats he would've defeated, lived and killed more people." He finally looked up at Yoshino, the exhaustion in his eyes replaced by grim determination.

"The timeline is broken."

"bald cap Wait a second did you kill Saitama by accident when he was in his weakest?"

The office worker flinched violently, looking guilty as hell. It was exactly the accusation he feared.

"Yes. It was a complete clerical screw-up," he admitted, rubbing his forehead. "I redirected a monster strike toward him when he was a powerless, struggling nobody—before he broke his limiter. Saitama died saving that kid—the grandfather who founded the Hero Association."

The man's eyes sharpened. "You... you get it." He leaned forward, the pen finally dropping onto the desk. "Saitama was supposed to survive that incident. Break his limiter. Become the invincible hero. Instead..." He let the silence hang heavily. "Millions dead. Hero Association never rose properly. The world is worse off."

He rubbed his jaw.

"I don't get the feeling you're telling me this out of courtesy you're going to send me there aren't you?"

The man didn't deny it. He just reached into his desk drawer and pulled out a stack of paperwork, sliding it across the beige desk.

"You've got nothing left. Died with no powers, no regrets, no unfinished business. Perfect candidate." He leaned back, crossing his arms. "The universe needs Saitama alive or the very least someone who could fill his shoes."

"Fine I'll go there but I get to choose what powers, abilities, and anything else I want to take with me."

The office worker raised an eyebrow. "Fair enough. We're already messing with the timeline—might as well give you some leverage." He tapped his pen against the clipboard.

"But make it logical. No god-like powers. No limitless strength. You're there to FIX things, not become the next threat." He narrowed his eyes. "Think."

"First of all I want all of modulo yuji's Abilities and body."

The man's pen paused mid-tap. His expression shifted—surprised, perhaps a little relieved.

"Jujutsu Sorcerer. Smart choice. Strong, versatile, but balanced." He started scribbling on the clipboard, the pen gliding quickly. "Body, techniques, cursed energy control, reverse cursed technique... all set."

"Next, I want the 10 shadows technique."

The man nodded, adding it to the list. "Ten Shadows Technique - checked. You'll have access to ten powerful shadows under your command. Perfect for both offense and defense." He looked up, his eyes glinting with approval. "Anything else?" He asked, pen poised.

"for the last thing I want all cursed tools and a book containing everything known about jujutsu sorcery stored inside my shadow."

The man set his pen down. He stared at the clipboard for a long moment, calculating. Finally he exhaled through his nose.

"Done. Everything from the Inverted Spear of Heaven to the Split Soul Katana. All stored within your shadow." He slid the clipboard toward himself. "The book containing all jujutsu knowledge—techniques, cursed energy theory, domain expansions, reverse cursed technique mechanics. All yours."

"You're going into the One Punch Man universe as a Jujutsu Sorcerer. You'll have the Ten Shadows Technique, including Mahoraga's adaptability and growth potential. All cursed tools are at your disposal, stored within your shadow. And you have a comprehensive book of jujutsu knowledge."

"OK, well last thing can you enhance my intelligence and overall soul a little bit more than usual because I feel like that's going to be very important later on and it will also help me master these techniques faster and get me some money."

The office worker chuckled dryly, finally cracking a smirk. "Smart thinking. You'll need the brainpower to handle Mahoraga's adaptability without going insane, and a strong soul to contain that much cursed energy." He tapped the clipboard rhythmically.

"Done. Your intellect is enhanced—borderline genius level strategic processing. Your soul has been fortified to withstand the strain of your abilities."

He leaned back, crossing his arms. "You've got Yuji's body and abilities—superhuman physicals, cursed energy manipulation, reverse cursed technique. Ten Shadows Technique with Mahoraga's adaptability and growth potential. Every cursed tool in existence stored in your shadow. A complete encyclopedia of jujutsu sorcery. Enhanced intelligence and soul fortification."

"OK, then I think I'm ready. Send me there."

The man stood up, walking over to a filing cabinet. He pulled open a drawer labeled "Reality Shifts - Unauthorized." From it, he took out a small, glowing orb—a universe seed. He cracked it over Yoshino's head.

"Good luck. Don't screw up the multiverse."

The world dissolved into light.

Yoshino opened his eyes.

he was in a small apartment Like really small he was sitting on a futon just then he Screamed out in pain. His body started changing.

The sudden transformation caused the thin futon to collapse underneath him. His body contorted in pain as his muscles tore and reformed, his bones cracked and realigned. Yuji's Jujutsu Sorcerer physiology was installing itself forcefully into Yoshino's genetic code.

Yoshino screamed until his throat went raw. It felt like fire spreading through every vein, every nerve ending. The knowledge from the cursed tool encyclopedia flooded his mind—techniques, sorcery theory, domain expansion mechanics—crashing against each other like breaking waves.

And then, the adaptability.

A sensation like Mahoraga's eye carving itself into his very being.

The pain peaked, then snapped. Yoshino collapsed onto the futon, gasping for air, sweat pouring down his face. His body felt different—denser, stronger, wired with cursed energy that thrummed beneath his skin.

His mind reeled from the information dump. The techniques, the cursed tools, the shadows—it was all there. Accessible. Understood.

Yoshino's world went black instantly. The sheer physical toll of rewriting his biology combined with the mental overload of absorbing infinite jujutsu knowledge shut his brain down completely. His body slumped heavily onto the thin futon, finally at rest.

Hours blurred into nothing.

When Yoshino finally woke up, the sun was streaming through a dusty window. He felt... heavy.
