Being slapped by Orlenna, Margaret was startled.
She raised her head frowned, "Mom, what are you doing?"
She didn't think she had gone too far.
Margaret quickly retracted her leg and glanced at Orlenna carefully.
"I'm your daughter. Hilla is your daughter-in-law. How can you be so partial?" Margaret thought.
"What am I doing? You are just pregnant. How dare you ask Hilla to serve you? If you feel sick, call Horton and let him give you a shot."
Orlenna pulled Hilla to sit down and snarled, "Don't worry about her. Let her bother her husband."
Hilla sat on the sofa in embarrassment.
She just wanted to give Margaret a favor. She didn't feel like it was a big deal.
However, she knew that if she explained, Orlenna would think she was speaking up for Margaret. And Margaret would receive more reproach.
Seeing Orlenna leave, Margaret couldn't help but whisper, "Senile."
Hilla was stunned and couldn't help but ask, "What do you mean?"
