Hilla got up to get her coat. Bruce grabbed her wrist and said seriously, "Let me handle it."
Hilla smiled gently and pulled her wrist out of his palm.
"Let me do it. You are strong. It will not be good if you kill him."
Bruce faintly replied with his mouth twitched, "Don't hurt yourself later."
Seeing he agreed, Hilla smiled with satisfaction.
A stinky man was not able to hurt her.
"Tell me if you feel it's not enough."
It was the same if he replaced her to beat the one.
Bruce's voice was low and gentle. Hilla nodded.
She just wanted to vent her anger, though the one who was hurt was Lori. She could bear bullying a girl in such a despicable way.
What's more, the one wanted to pin the blame on Bruce. If she endured it, people would think she and Bruce were weak.
Bruce had no intention of retreating. He took a deep breath and put on Hilla with a coat.
Although it was hot now, it was easy to catch a cold if using physical strength and sweating.
