Xavier coughed out blood after being beaten up. He wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and looked up at Zoey.
He then pointed at Stacey and asked, "So, she's the biological daughter of the Fuller family?"
"That's none of your fucking business!" Stacey retorted. "Do you think you have the right to know about the Fuller family?"
Stumped for words, Xavier shot a glare at her.
"Do that again, and I will gauge your eyes out." Stacey pointed two fingers at his eyes.
Xavier's mouth twitched.
"Zoey, Stella and I paid a huge price for what we did. Could you let our child go? She's innocent."
After a long pause, he mustered up the courage to plead for his daughter's safety.
Stacey spat before Zoey had the chance to speak. "Xavier, she's your child, so she has to bear the consequences of your actions."
Although she never had the intention to be that cruel, she could still threaten Xavier.
