Clement rushed into the infirmary as soon as he escaped to the 9th floor. By the time he exited, he was dressed like a doctor.
He was initially planning to go to the 10th floor like this, but when he saw the bodyguards swarming down, he realized that the ward would be just as heavily guarded and he would be unable to do anything to Jeanette.
"Jeanette, I've underestimated you tonight."
He looked in the direction of Jeanette's ward and gritted his teeth. "But I won't forget how you almost hurt Zoey. I'll teach you a lesson soon."
With that, he turned around and left.
Because he was dressed like a doctor, no one suspected him as he strutted out the main entrance and drove away.
The person who was sent by Henry to check the surveillance cameras reported that there was no suspicious person around. So, he deduced that he must have been hidden in the cameras' blind spots.
