Marcus nodded in approval. "That is an excellent move, Mr. Yancey."
"Kayla is the apple of my eye, and I will protect her at all costs," said Leo. Marcus could not agree more.
Leo glanced at his watch and caught hold of the time - it was getting late. "Shall we make a move, my sweethearts?"
"What, Daddy? Are we going back now?" Kayla asked. She was reluctant to leave as her mind was all set on playing.
"But you promised Daddy you would keep to a proper bedtime schedule," reminded Leo.
"I have not forgotten about that, Daddy. But we're on vacation after all. Could we make an exception this time?" pleaded Kayla.
"No, Kayla. Kids should keep to their bedtime," Leo insisted.
Kayla agreed reluctantly and rushed over to hug the pack of wild dogs. "I'm going off now, everyone. Look for me in my room tomorrow if you miss me!"
The pack of wild dogs huddled up to Kayla, and a few even licked her cheeks affectionately.
