Just as they thought the fuma shuriken attack was the end of the current round of attacks and things couldn't possibly get any worse, Reina made her move again, so fast that they barely had time to react.
Reina made exactly one single-handed hand seal with her right hand and gathered a considerable amount of fire chakra in her throat.
Fire Release: Dragon Fire Technique
Reina breathed an extremely condensed stream of blue fire along the thin ninja wires connecting the disassembled parts of the fuma shuriken.
The scorching-hot blue flames traveled through the ninja wires faster than a high-speed arrow toward the four Genin and three Chunin who were crippled by the fuma shuriken's disassembled parts, which were still stabbed into their bodies.
And before the ninjas could even register what was going on, the scorching-blue fire engulfed the seven victims like a ghost, exploded, and rapidly burned their bodies.
"AAAAAARRGGGGGG…." x7
Screams signifying unimaginable agony came out of the seven flaming figures as the blue fire rapidly burned and destroyed their skin, muscles, bones, and internal organs.
However, even their screams didn't last long.
The blue flame's temperature was so high that their bodies quickly turned into ashes.
Even the disassembled parts of the fuma shurikens and the ninja wire connected to them had melted in a matter of seconds.
"What? What kind of fire is that?"
"Monster!"
The terrifying scene of live cremation left everyone, including the remaining enemy ninjas and Genzo's hired ninjas and samurai, horrified.
Hyuga Natsumi looked blankly at the scene and then at Reina.
She had to admit…her teammate was terrifying.
She just didn't know who was the more terrifying one.
Seimei or Reina.
The sheer visual impact of effortless slaughter that Reina had demonstrated was something else. Having either Reina or Seimei as an enemy would be nothing short of a nightmare.

Reina had delivered a fantastic opening and reduced enemy numbers by a good margin.
Now, she and Reina could ignore the remaining combat-capable Genin, who numbered fewer than fifteen, and leave them to Genzo's hired ninjas and samurai.
The Chunin who were still alive numbered six. And two of them were moderately injured by Reina's Phoenix Sage Flower Nail Crimson jutsu's red-hot, fire-natured, chakra-infused shurikens.
Fukada Ren and his elite squad can easily demolish them.
So, she wouldn't have to worry about them either.
In that case, who should Reina and Natsumi be focusing on?
Natsumi didn't even need a second of processing to find the answer.
She and Reina needed to deal with the two full-fledged Jonin and five Special Jonin in the enemy ranks.
Even if they couldn't defeat them quickly, they would need to hold them off long enough for Genzo's hired ninjas, including Fukada Ren's group, to eliminate all the enemy Genin and Chunin, so they could join them.
That sounded like a good plan.
She looked at Reina, and Reina looked at her.
Reina's Sharingan flashed with an eerie red glow as she activated her Genjutsu to communicate quickly with Natsumi.
Their conversation inside the Genjutsu lasted for fifteen seconds. But to the outside world, it happened in the blink of an eye.
Natsumi smiled and asked, "Shall we proceed?"
Reina's smile turned predatory. "That's my plan, too."
Before the enemy leader could understand what sinister plans the two teenage girls were brewing as they talked in riddles, Natsumi acted.
Natsumi quickly formed two hand seals and gathered earth-natured chakra in her throat.
Earth Release: Rock Gun Technique
Natsumi expelled a bullet-sized rock at an extremely high velocity at a nearby enemy Special Jonin standing twenty meters away.
The bullet-sized rock expanded as it traveled through the air. And by the time it reached the enemy Special Jonin, it had grown to the size of a fist-sized drill, gunning for his heart.
The enemy Special Jonin's reaction was quick.
He also formed two hand seals at lightning speed and extended his left palm.
Lightning Release: Thunder Saber [C-rank Jutsu]

The Special Jonin's pupil shrank, but he didn't hesitate to swing the lightning blade that he kept active at Natsumi, attempting to make her dodge or face the consequences.
However, Natsumi didn't dodge. Instead, she showed her enemy why the Hyuga ninjas were feared in close combat.
Natsumi's hands moved so fast that they blurred.
Her index finger landed precisely on a tenketsu (chakra point) on her left wrist and flooded it with hostile chakra, disrupting the chakra flow through his left arm.
Crackle! Whoosh!
The effect was immediate.
The Thunder Saber jutsu on his left palm went out of existence like a dying light bulb after someone switched it off.
Meanwhile, a large amount of chakra gathered in Natsumi's left palm as she slammed it into the Special Jonin's chest.

A destructive chakra-powered shockwave passed through the Special Jonin's body, tearing his muscle tissues, breaking his ribs, and crushing his internal organs.

At the same time, a burly Special Jonin wielding a lightning chakra-infused ninja sword appeared behind Natsumi and swung his blade at her in an attempt to decapitate her.

Her left hand swiftly retrieved a kunai from the ninja pouch on her left thigh, channeled a large amount of wind-natured chakra through it, making the weapon sharper and wrapped in terrifying airflow.
Next, she rotated her waist and intercepted the enemy's lightning-infused sword with the edge of her kunai.
Clang! Swoosh! Crackle!
The loud sound of colliding metal rang in the air. At the point of contact, wind and lightning flashed for a moment before the wind chakra quickly overpowered and suppressed the lightning.

Her voice was cold and composed.

The enemy Jonin leader didn't answer. Instead, he raised his sword and prepared to charge at the Uchiha girl for one final battle of his life.
However, before he could even move forward, he felt a sharp pain in his neck. Next, his vision swirled and rotated constantly before coming to a halt.
After a brief moment of confusion, he finally saw a bloody, headless body in his peripheral vision, along with a pair of legs of someone standing behind it. The body seemed familiar to him.
A few milliseconds later, his eyes widened in horror. The headless body wasn't just familiar to him. It was his own damn body.
And that was all he could think before his vision darkened forever.
As for the unknown pair of legs of someone standing behind his headless corpse…
Of course, it was Reina. The real Reina.
The Reina standing in front of the enemy Jonin leader was an illusion created using Sharingan Genjutsu.
The real Reina was standing behind the Jonin leader and decapitated him with a swift strike of her ninja sword.
Reina looked at the corpse and muttered, "Things are pretty much finished here."
