Fiona walked briskly through the headquarters, her footsteps echoing across the long metallic corridors. Although the emergency sirens continued blaring throughout the building, her expression remained composed. Inside, however, her mind was racing. Every second the alarm remained active increased the chances of another captain reaching the training hall.

Without slowing down, Fiona reached for the communication device attached to her shoulder. Her fingers pressed the transmit button as she switched to the agency's command frequency.
"Command Center, this is Captain Phoenix reporting."
The line connected almost instantly.
A calm female voice answered from the other side.
"This is Command Center."
"Good afternoon, Captain Phoenix."
"How may we assist you?"
Fiona took a slow breath before replying.
"I need to clarify the Humanity-Level Threat report."
