One soldier immediately shook his head. "Those two elements naturally oppose each other."
Another soldier crossed his arms. "That's completely illogical."
Danielle merely smiled. "Only because nobody has tried hard enough."
She picked up a small stone and continued explaining.
"If someone possesses sufficiently precise control over their psychic power, they could create a protective layer around the fire and disguise it inside the Water Ball."
She made a small circular motion with her finger. "Imagine your opponent seeing a harmless Water Ball flying toward them."
Her smile deepened. "They would instinctively prepare to defend against water."
She lightly tossed the stone into the air. "But instead of water..."
Her eyes sparkled. "...what reaches them is an intensely compressed Fire Ball capable of burning not only their body but even damaging their soul."
