Those words only fuelled Gwen's rage. She suddenly pointed toward Annie again.
"The only reason he's with you... is because he couldn't have me!"
She clenched both fists tightly.
"You're nothing more than my shadow. Since he couldn't have me... he settled for you instead."
The moment those words left her mouth, Felix's face darkened completely. For the first time since they met again, genuine anger appeared in his eyes. "Shut up."
His voice was frighteningly cold. "I've tolerated enough."
He took a step forward. "Please leave. Right now."
Gwen stared at him blankly. She had never imagined Felix would actually raise his voice at her. "You..."
She bit her lip until it almost bled. "You jerk!"
Unable to endure the humiliation any longer, she turned around and ran outside. The moment she disappeared, the room finally became quiet again.
