Silas remained calm. "I've already sent several teams. They're searching every possible location. As for me... I still have to manage the military so I can't leave"

His voice echoed throughout the area. "You can't even leave this insignificant responsibility behind for a little while to search for your wife?"
His eyes reddened with anger. "What if she's in danger right now?"
He stepped forward. "Silas."
His voice became cold. "I'm warning you. If anything happens to Ivy, I won't forgive you."
Silas quietly stared at him. Then he gave a faint, bitter smile.
"You don't need to warn me."
