Daniel gave no answer for a few moments.
The thin strand of golden-silver light that gleamed between his fingers slowly faded, as if it had never existed. At that same moment, all the changes that had appeared throughout the temple also receded one by one.
The water droplets fell from the waterfall once more. The ancient runes on the columns went dark. And that thousand-year-old silence once again cast its shadow over the founder's realm.
The only difference was that this time, the silence between them was no longer as before. The temple's air had grown heavier, naturally due to the question that had formed in the mind of a thousand-year-old being.
"It doesn't matter where I got this power from." Daniel lowered his hand quietly and said without the slightest change in expression.
What he had just shown was the purest form of the power and Law of Eternity. Not something just anyone could obtain if they wanted to.
